    I think part of it is just a larger vehicle. A Tahoe is never going to be as responsive as an Equinox. More mass, larger tire sidewall, etc. Only thing that would really firm it up are lower profile tires.

    I like the aluminum better. I think aluminum looks better. Unlike chrome, there are refinishing options with aluminum compared to chrome. The wheels will get nicks and scratches. Aluminum can be refinished much “easier”. Also, tires “stick” better to aluminum wheels.
