    Height measurement

need to see how much room you have now, then figure about 4'' more. between the level, and differences in tires (manufacturing differences) and to still have a little room.

    Brake system upgrade

yep what he said, you dont need the whole system just the physical brake parts. you already have an advantage with the denali having hydroboost, unless you upgrade that also.

    "Solved" Hot wire

have to agree with this, unless your running some led type that are lower power draw and basically eliminate the oem lights so the overall power draw is close to stock so your not overloading the system. otherwise a separate power wire is the way to go, but by all means tap the stock lights to...

    Gear codes

you should go ahead and start a new thread for yourself to say hi, include what you have and want to do. pictures are always a plus, i am sure you would get additional help also (can go into more details and examples without cluttering up another thread this way also. )

    Gear codes

unless your towing near capacity often i wouldnt bother, the expence would be greater than the benefit in most cases. unless your looking for better gears for more power (also lower milage) then i would just leave it. one tire size like that really dont have too huge an effect. i have done...

    My latest Adventure, update 7/11/21

alright, so it was a pretty good weekend, thursday got the truck swapped for the car. and i have to say the car is a peach! ok seriously it looks like hell as it looks like a poor metallic or chamilian paint done with rattle cans, but body wise isnt that bad at all, minimal rust, and the...

Looking for a 2000-2014/New member looking for a Tahoe/Yukon and some good advice for towing!

one of the things i almost always do is if i have a budget i try to not buy something that is at the top end of what i have to spend, as there is almost always something that needs done, be it some maintenance , tires, oil change, aftermarket hitch, brake controller, trans cooler or whatever stuff.

Update 5/2/21 - Bounce and Porpoising - Especially Towing

alright, i will ad a couple pennies to this scenario. i have towed with many different vehicles mostly cars and equipment, not much camper yet. should vent down. the whole cavity is open behind the lights and such all the way to the ground, so i wouldn't think it an issue.

    Tonyrodz's Tahoe Build Thread

and this expensive crap is why i am very glad i do my own work, from a monetary outlook its the only way to go. price of parts and then the 60-80 for an alignment is all i pay. i know i got out cheap when i did the brakes on my suburban 4 rotors, 4 calipers, all pads, and all fluid was about...
