My experience has been that if you have full lock turns on a rougher surface such as asphalt, you will get that type of wear. I have the OEM spec Bridgestones on my truck and even with that increased wear due to the pressure on the outer treads that I was able to safely get over the 65k mile...
2013 Yukon XL Denali bought with 97k miles. Now at 259k with what seems like a low 7548 hours. Original engine, second transmission. Tuned out DOD about 120k miles ago. Engine definitely starting to get a bit rough. Fuel mileage been dropping
If you had your second fob on you when exiting the vehicle, it will auto lock EVEN if the other fob is inside the vehicle. And yes, it will give you the triple chirp too, but give it 5 seconds and it’ll lock.
There’s a product out there called “range technology” that claims to address the auto start/stop issue with a dongle that plugs into the OBDII port. They also have a version to address the afm/dfm although it’s unclear if they can be both in the same unit. They have a disclaimer on there that...
They are OEM reps in 20”. I picked those up from a guy in Mesquite, TX via eBay. I’ve had them almost 2 years and love them. Removing the inserts was the best thing for the overall look.
Here’s the link for the actual item that I bought. It shows that the listing is not currently active, but I’m sure they can order the wheels for you.

They have a great eBay store which showcases their wares. They currently have a special on the Michelin Premier LTX. The ride on those is spectacular
Just picked these up last week from Novus Wheels in the Dallas, TX area. They’re 20” replicas of the stock 22” wheel from the 2015+ model. Gunmetal with chrome inserts and got them shod with Michelin Premier LTX.
Ditto that, plus the navigation system in the Yukon is actually better than the one in the Escalade. Even though they are both hard drive based, the Yukon (2012 and up) allows you to pause live radio with rewind up to 20 minutes and store music into the head unit.
I've been doing that for years in my last 5 GM Trucks. When you turn the ignition off, pull the key out around 1/2" to when the dome lights come on. That's your sign that the ignition is no longer seeing your key. Additional confirmation is when you open your door, there won't be any chime...
If you're in or near the St. Louis area, Performance by Joe (PBJ) does a great tune and will eliminate AFM. He did a fantastic job with my Denali XL. Better shift points, more power and increased MPG
Has anybody been able to successfully install the power window switches with express-up from the 10-14 escalade into a Denali? The part number I've found is 20980437
The plugs appear to be identical and should go right in and fit. Assuming yes, would I also need to replace the switch on the...
I just posted this on a different thread. These went on relatively easy and look fantastic. The only issue I had was disconnecting the original harness which is located underneath the vehicle. Additionally, you need to provide your own 3157 bulb since the OEM bulb is a different size.
Since...
I installed the tail lights from DT Moto on my Denali last week and they really dress up the exterior and make it look much sleeker. You can't use your original reverse bulb and need to install a 3157. It's not in the instructions.
I've swapped my captains for a bench on 3 of my trucks already. The one thing holding me from getting the current gen is that pesky 3rd row which is sloped when sloped. How did you remove yours and are there gaps because of it? I'd love to see a mod to install the 07-14 3rd row for easy removal
I've got a 2013 Denali XL ebony interior. Looking to swap my captions for a 60/40 bench. I'm located in the St Louis area and will go 3 hours in any direction.
That negative equity craziness. Gets you every time. Despite the fact that the car you're trading in is selling lot hot cakes, the book that they use will always have you on the wrong side of the equation. Add in the amount of mileage that I put on annually - it's a sinking ship unless I can pay...
Traded in a stunning '13 Suburban LTZ to get something more fuel efficient (per my company). I leased a Subaru Outback and got rid of it after 2 months for a Buick Enclave. After 13 months without a normal full size SUV, I finally went back with a '13 Denali XL. Now I need to start my mods all...
