I never got a notice for an update but 2 days ago I started having an issue where streaming music from my phone would not play unless I had the app on the infotainment screen. If I toggled to Waze or anywhere else, the music would stop.... So Fn annoying. I wonder if this update went through in...
Yup, 100%. I have a lot of experience with wheels like this but this Vossen wheel in particular has a lot of hidden crevices and indentions that are driving me crazy and just too time consuming. I'm gettin too old for this shit, lol.
I've had this style of wheel on my last 3-4 vehicles. They just look the best.. BUT going from a 20 or 21" wheel in this style to a 24" actually adds quite a bit of cleaning time, lol. If I could do it over again, I'd just do a basic 6 or 7 spoke. Like the HF6-2
If you're in the Houston area and interested, let me know. I think these are the best looking wheels for the Yukon but they're a PITA to keep clean so I'm thinking about going with something more basic. They're coated and have about 2500 miles on the tires. Nexen 305/35/24...
Also probably depends on the wheel and how much cavity there is. With my Denali 22s, I would've had to trim about 1/16" to get the 1.25" spacers to fit.
There isn't enough space. I did buy a powered kicker 10" hideaway sub but haven't installed it yet. Plan is to just put it in the back and install it so that its a quick connect to remove it if I ever need the cargo area.
I'm not audio/electrical inclined so I need someone to post a detailed...
I personally don't think it will rub. It will stick out far past the fenders but shouldn't rub. At worst, you might need some minor trimming at full turn.
1) you brought up weight. So how much do they weight? I'm curious because I just got 24s and they weight 45lbs and the tires are 44lbs. I was a bit shocked by how heavy it all is.
2) where do you live? taking apart a multi piece wheel isn't rocket science so you should easily be able to...
Obviously to each his own but I think you could easily roll with the wheels color pattern as is. They look great on the test fit.
I recently dropped wheels at a powder coater. I asked about doing the barrels gloss black and the face satin black and it was twice the cost to do two colors...
Damn those wheels are sick. Kudos to you for having the patience to send them to the powder coater after all that has arrived and sitting in your garage.
I don't think there is a better look than gloss black barrels with matte or satin spokes. Looking forward to the final results! what's...
Honestly you just need to play with it. Once you install them the first time, it takes 10 seconds to pop one off to adjust it. Pretty sure mine are all different lengths now to have the truck level on all 4 corners.
