I'm not sure but I put on 10mm spacers and that's probably about as big as I would comfortably go. You could probably push it with 12mm but I'm not that brave.
From there, you would need to go up to 1.5" with new studs. I tried 1.25" spacers and even with the pockets in the back of the wheel...
I'm also coming from BMW. I have had BM3 and BMS on two separate BMWs. Amazing to be able to turn up the boost on turbocharged platforms. If GM would put a TTV8 in these trucks, they would have the perfect machine.
This was the best I could do for now. All of my pictures have my truck on max low when I’m parked. I Took these from a video snip that I had. Traveling this week so won’t be able to take new pics anytime soon.
You don't have to remove the seats. Just fold them down. Then remove the rear floor/plastic tray. Then remove the weather stripping around the back hatch and then you can start to pop out the panel from the rear, working towards the back doors.
I have them. Only lowered about an 1"-1.5" and it rides as good as stock. I may eventually go lower but I just wanted something modest for a family rig.
That is so disappointing to hear about the drone. I was really leaning towards this system since I think Corsa will be too loud.
When I was doing the exhaust on my X5, I made the video below. I used the app Decibel X and set my phone up about 6 feet away from the rear end before cold start...
It's definitely weird driving without park sensors but I've gotten used to it so I'm in no rush... But my out of state selling dealer said that GM is going to treat it like a recall and that you can go to any dealership. There's form that was included at the time of sale that verifies this.
I can't speak from personal experience on the reps but its possible that the 24 offset that sticks out 4mm more has spokes that come back in and thus rub the caliper or other suspension components. Maybe just not perfectly matching replicas.
Curious if anyone changed their own oil on a 6.2 and put in a Fumoto Valve? I'll be doing my first change at about 1000 miles and curious if anyone has experience or a picture of the drain plug location. I'm leaning towards the F137S so I can drain straight into a waste container...
I posted this in the Corsa thread but figured I'd try here too. Can someone with the GM Perf exhaust and someone with the Corsa exhaust do this?
