Idk if its been mentioned already or not but Metra makes a DD kit for 00-02's. It includes a bezel and the release clips to mount it in the OEM cage. You have to paint it unless you want to rock all black. However, Denali and Escalade owners are stuck with retrofitting an 03-06 cage and bezel...
Like @Red Rocket I have full time drl's with bright ass LED's, but I did mine a different way. The way I did it doesn't require anything other then time. I like it because even to a trained eye, nobody can tell how it was done. This method only works for 00-02's. Theres a write up on it on...
I never knew that. I know Austin is big into live music. Going to SXSW has been on my bucket list for years now.
@05Single I wasn't aware of that. I was always under the impression the reason the drls burned out so quickly was because they were subject to really high voltage spikes up to 15V...
So those are clear reflectors? I looked everywhere on the internet trying to find those before I did my retrofit. I still can't find them anywhere.bI hate the amber reflector too. I decided I'll just color match them one day or attempt to make my own.

@05Single I installed them in july. I had some really ugly and tall leds from superbrightleds before that but I took them out because they weren't that bright. The old ones lasted a year with no hassles so that will be the benchmark for these. Even if they fall short, the new pair was cheaper...
My dad called and told me it took him an hour and half to pick up my mom when its normally a 15min drive. Everyone should have known this was coming. It wasn't really a surprise. I got an email from PCC saying they're are closing at 4, lucky for me its all online classes so Im not stuck in the...
I noticed that a couple days ago and was going to say something. It looks good! I like the billet grille personally, but I dont think I could come to myself to cut out the stock grille out. Thats what really drew me to the Denali's when they were new. I really want to color match the surround...
Just started snowing in Portland and decided to get a candid photo. If it keeps snowing overnight I'll take her out to play tomorrow.

I like it.
I think it only works if you're pretty low, 22's or 24's and an overall street/performance truck theme. However, my thought has always been if you're gunna have a mesh grille you need something to look at behind it like a huge tranny cooler, intercooler, or a chrome/raw finish...
Bought morimoto 5500K xb bulbs. I have the 6500K now and I want to see if it makes a difference. Im getting bored with my MH1's and want better. They warned me about this and I didn't listen lol
I ditched my autoride and like everyone else put in bilstein 4600's. I left the factory spring in place because I want to lower it sometime and just cant find the justification to buy another set of factory height springs. I installed Hellwig sways at the same time and it rides nice and controlled.
@GMmatt compared to a 4wd Tahoe or Yukon they are a bit higher maintenance, but compared to other vehicles they are still pretty low maintenance. The awd will accelerate wear on the steering, hubs and differential but it's all how you use it and take care of it. I'm at 137k and am not easy on it...
My 02 Denali does what you describe. It's like it has drone that exhaust gets, except in the intake. It happens at 60+ when I've been at the same throttle level for a while. I like the sound so it doesn't bother me. I'm stock with an Airaid jr. And a green filter.

There's no way to tell. However the 4 groove seems to be more popular. You could buy both and return the one that doesn't work?

Installed my cognito brace on my idler arm side. The hellwig sway bar mounts farther away from the oem one so I was able to get the brace in there and it's millimeters away from sitting on the bar. It just might hit at full lock but they'll work themselves out.
I took a trip to the other side...
Threw on bilstein 4600's and hellwig sways...Massive difference! I do wish the 4600's were stiffer, but so far I'm enjoying the controlled comfort.
