Yeah my front windows are 15% and the rest is 30%. Never been called out with the 15% fronts and I've pulled up next to cops at lights.
If I get a fix-it ticket they might make me take it off before I pay the fine.

Here's an outside pic of the tinted windshield. I want to say "I wish I would've gone darker" but the real test will be the visibility at night and how much it blocks oncoming traffics headlight glare, which is the main reason I got the windshield tinted.
*edit: keep in mind I'm tan interior...
I got it done at ultimate window tinting in Vancouver. They are the only formula 1 installer around. They say the do windshields all the time and 50% is common.
As for laws, I'm not too worried about it. The only concern is my license plate's on my dash and I don't know if it will interfere...
Since I got a new windshield recently, today I got it tinted. Went with formula 1 ceramic 50%. Visibility seems the same. The picture shows the contrast of my 15% front windows and the outside world to the windshield. No good pictures of the outside because it still has to cure for a few days...
Just received mine. Didn't get a shipping email or anything. Delivered ups and wasn't on my shipping schedule on ups mychoice either, but it's here nonetheless.
Just started raining in Oregon so hopefully will be able to use it soon

I want to give my .2 cents on something I noticed.
I did the upgrade when I had my stock 17's. I've always noticed the petal was really light for maybe the first 1/8th of travel and when it finally felt firm, it braked too hard except for maybe panic stops or sprited driving. Maybe it was...
I really like the look of these grill's. It is expensive but realize they custom make the grill using oem components like the frame and whatnot. Its not an overlay, which looks really cheap to me imo, or a diy-hack-away your factory grill type job...
Did an oil change and got a new windshield. They came to me, split my deductible, got it installed in 45min, all while drinking my coffee this morning.

Picked up these 20" boss 307's with Goodyear eagle gt's on cl for $300. Chrome's starting to peel so I'll probably just powdercoat it or something when I get new tires. Aside from the bling factor, I really like the look. Most importantly, it handles much better now, way more car like.

Picked up these Boss 307's with Goodyear eagle gt's for $300. Tires are decent (I'd say 70% left?) and chromes peeling (Just another reason to powdercoat them right?)
New center caps $20 x 4 on eBay
Homie who works at a tire shop hooked me up with gorilla lug nuts and key for $48
Overall for...
If it's all mandrel bent stainless steel from exhaust manifold on back with new cats, nice tips and everything I'd say that's fair. Mandrel bending jacks the price up in my area, but for $900 you shouldn't be getting so off brand no name "40 series" muffler.

All good man. It's the gm part bin for ya. It's a double edged sword, it can make things difficult for maintenance and whatnot, but you can do some cool stuff out of it like decking out a base Tahoe with escalade parts. The gmc typhoon is the perfect illustration of the part bin, Astro van awd...
You're not going to get a lot of answers because most just use OEM or a replica of it, so I'll help the best I can. I have a 2002 denali and I went through this same process about 6 months ago.
You've already found out theres no way a mag-hytec would fit. After I realized the Mag was a no-go, I...
Installed my esky shifter. I was a little concerned it was going to look weird with the gray looking leather, but it looks nice with the denali dash bezel.
@Bigbeardenali1992 Yeah for sure as long as its not a esv roof rack or something like that haha I'm always looking for esky platinum interior parts. I really want those bose speaker grills with the chrome trim that doesn't require me buying the whole door panel.
@David Paul next time I'm there...
I run 15% ceramic tint on my fronts. No problems for the 7 months I've had it and I can only assume I attract a lot of attention from LEO's due to my LED's and retrofit. Oregon is no less than 35% LT.
Two things to consider. What color is the tint and your interior color. I've noticed ceramic...
For performance, wongs performance in Vancouver is the guy. All he does is GM vehicles and has quite a rep in the corvette world. He tuned my buddys 5th gen camaro with headers, cai & maybe a muffler delete and got him 424whp.
The only regular "fix-it"/ maintenance type shops Ive experienced...
