Happened to mine. Chenged the glass. Look carefullly on the glass side. If you can see metal then you cab solder. If you see glass, you might be SOL. I was actually going to try to glue it bacl. But I was not able to find any conductive epoxy. If you solder you do take the chance of shattering...
I just did a complete LED conversion, including running boards etc. I did not have any problems. I would troubleshoot this way:
1. Install the old bulbs back in and see if they flash as well.
2. Try to use the LEds you have in another truck.
3. Also make sure the Leds are connected correctly...
If you do the same as I did, leave some more room for shrink wrapping. Maybe Like 1/2 inch on each side. It will make your life easier. Fill with silicone and zip tie.
Other than that Good Luck. Let me know if you need help. PM me and I will send you my email address.

Here are some of the answers of the questions.
This is the type of Leds I used. As I said first, I found these inside a store signage that was being trashed. the lights were sitting in the garage for a while.
These are string of Leds. The first thing was to mount them...
See!!! Why do you have to mention cameras. !!!! There goes another light bulb in my head and a thought of my wife filing for divorce. lol.
This whole thing started when some idiot on a motorcycle intentionally broke my right mirror. Since I had color matched mirror covers the cost of...
What I would have done different ?? Perhaps never started the project lol. I am not a spring chicken any more. I think GMC is a brand that should separate itself from Suburbans. Nothing against either one, I am a bit biased to yhe Yukons.
1. I would have also installed a Glove Compartment...
That was supposed to be my secret. :).
I just came back from a long drive. Took the family out. To me the effects looked amazing. I will post the pictures soon, within a day or two, just to make sure it shows how I put it together.
Besides I am really tired right now :)
I cannot see a reason why not. You can get an answer from dealership. Just tell them it is a Tahoe seat for Suburban or Yukon for Ykon XL. I am pretty sure they are interchangable.
Nice thought. I did not try that, first I did not think of it and it would still require inside outside wiring. May be one day I will give it a try. Right now I am just glad it is done. I do really appreciate your insights.
Possible ... the window switch was changed at one time. Might have to be flashed again. Check with Service to see if the codes match up (just as @Mechanic421 said)
Had the same issue with my 09 XL. What I do now is that I line them up nad push from the cargo area into the seat area. Think of it as pushing a stroller. The faster and forceful it is the easier it is to unlock.
Hello again. I think I have now resolved the issue that @yugrus mentioned. With remote start there is no puddle lighting. Take a look at the circuit I installed. This is giving me about 7 seconds of Running Board Lighting with Remote Start. I am going to order a better Timer Relay so I can...
Thanks for the complement. The DL3 mirrors I bought were from A GMC Sierra. They had no puddle light connection. I racked my brain looking for the Orange/White Striped wire on Pin 3 on the white connector and there was none. So the approach is with remote start is a problem but since the door...
Alright. I have finally finished the project. Pictures are attached. Let me know what you guys think. I am not going to upload any of the LED Interior Lighting unless someone requests.
This is the footwell accent lighting. In this pic the light is about 75% brightness. But I keep it reduced to...
Thank you.
Your SUV looks really nice. I am actually trying to keep it more functional (wife likes it better with just simple white LEDs and I am trying not to sleep on the couch :) ).
How did you run the wire from the inside to outside?
Here is the Accent lighting. It is at 10% brightness.
Here it is at 25% brightness.
The pictures do not do justice. It looks much nicer actually.
Once again the idea is accenting not to overwhelm.
With the remote, I could increase the brightness to the level I want.
Once again comments are...
Thank you. I will keep that in mind. As far as I have tested it, just the footwell lighting, it dims off with the dome lights. I did not hear any rattle. When I tested the outside lighting, it worked fine as well. I will try to listen more next time I power it up. I am trying not to put too much...
I did not know that. No there is no rattle on the relay. It is good to know. When I was testing it I was able to turn the X9 junction off and on with the dome switch. So I was thinking that X9 turns on whenever the dome is on.
Got a little bit more done.
I was able to install accent leds in one of the door panels.
When I ordered the LED the light was quite focused. To scatter/diffuse the light I sanded the LEDs using a Rotary Tool. Washed the sanded LEDs in running water and dried. You will see that I used a black...
Hello,
The reason for the second relay was to make sure that the lights outside do not turn ON when the dome is on and the SUV is running. I like the dimming effect but I do have little kids and they do drop stuff and hear.... "Papa, PLease turn on the light." So if I turn on the light and I am...
