    2-3 Inch Drop

It's been awhile but I think it was Fosscore that made me get my 2/3 drop. Used the 2/3 spindle kit with shocks from Tony. Adjustable panbar, rear drop links, new to me 20" take offs. Did the upper and lower control arms. New swaybar bushings. Truck rode like crap over expansion joints, felt...

    Body Side Moulding Trim ideas?

Mine on my 04 were starting to look pretty dull, removed them all. I like the clean look better and only cost a little time and effort, well more then I care to admit.

    Snow Driving

I agree on the continentals, just put on a full set of blizzaks, huge improvement. No more white knuckled driving in the snow.

    dash paint

I think you'll find most on here will recommend SEM as the paint of choice for our vehicles. As far as the color, that's a little harder. There are several different shades of pewter. I tried several before I got it right.

    Traction Devices / Snow Tires

:2cents: Jeff, do you have a Costco near you? If so I would recommend you check Costco.com for the tires you like. Have them shipped to the store to be mounted on the 18" rims if you get them. IMHO, you can't beat what you get for the $15 per tire installation price.

What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

In an effort to help minimize snow fall this winter in NJ, I installed the ugliest tire/wheel combination available on my 04: Brand new set of Blizzak's on my OEM 17" wheels. Very different from my 20" wheels. So now that I'm ready for snow, it probably won't. And if you look very closely, you...

    "Best" wheel size?

I agree wholeheartedly with Nathan on this but I went with the 20" wheels replacing my OEM 17" wheels. I prefer the nicer ride and the looks are still much improved.

07+ Brake upgrade on a 00-06 NBS, is it worth it?

Good evening Thomas, yup that's the set I bought, I just checked my Amazon history. They are and have been working very well for me. Just a little dusting but never a squeal. I would buy them again. Hope this helps....

    Road Trip Prep

Has the fuel pump ever been replaced? If not I'd do that for piece of mind. Transmissions are weak points. Has yours been well maintained? Brake lines are also prone to rust. I'd check those also. My 04 has 160,000 and has had issues with these 3 items. Now that they are squared away, I'd take...

The Denali threw in the towel today

I know where your coming from. Rebuild with a mild street cam and headers. The hard part is done with the motor out. Anything you do after will icing on the cake. When it's done you'll be glad you did. PS, no charge for helping you spend your money, that's what we're here for.

    Mpg with leveling kit

Agreed, the only time I've checked my mpg is thru the on board computer, and that was only to see if it worked. Don't remember what the reading was but do recall being impressed going down hill with my foot off the gas...

What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Went to Costco to get a price on winter tires for my 04. I had checked Tire Rack reviews and found the ones I liked, Blzzaks. Check Costco's online price, found it wasn't too bad. Go to store, guy behind the desk gives me a total installed price for all 4. I ask if the price per tire is the same...

fault code P0453 13 hour drive?

Clear the code, enjoy the ride. If the code returns diagnosis it more on your return. The most annoying thing will be the cel on the dash.
