    I did go to one of the GMC dealers nearby a few months back, and explained the issue, they could tell that I had the windshield tinted, but asked me if I did anyway, when I said yes they immediately said this is why I was having the issue. Welp, replacing the ambient sensor proved them wrong...

    The tape worked for me - as you said, about 80% of the time. This has been an issue since I bought this 22Yukon SLE. I know what might be said next, but I also had the entire windshield ceramic tinted at 40% but this had happened even before that was done. With black interior the heat rejection...

    Same issue on 2022 Yukon SLE, not sure if it did this once I left the car lot, the same day I had the windshield tinted (entirely) so the dealer told me it was because the windshield was tinted. It was set to 40%, I then re-tinted at 70% and the headlights stayed off 'better' during a cloudy...

    Yeah, Bose never really wowed me. To a 2016 Tahoe I added a sub amp with sub box behind 3rd row at the cost of loosing storage space. But that did help the factory Bose system out a bit.

    It depends on the maintenance done since day one. But Generally could last up to around 300k - But there will be parts that wear out in that time frame. This is kind of an open ended question.

    Similar issue on '07 Hoe - Ended up being the negative battery cable was corroded on the inside of the jacket, couldn't see just by giving it a glance. Peeling jacket back down revealed it. And having it load tested. Once replaced - no more issues

    Late to your thread, but my 16 LTZ has not (so far ) had this issue, and I've had it for 1.5 years - Car Fax previous does not show it's been done. I've done brakes/exhaust by choice though.

    Check the negative power cable to battery. Mine had some hidden corrosion inside the cable jacket that was just enough to stop a solid connection I ended up having that cable replaced, and it was fine afterwards.

    Have the Red & Black battery cables checked (even inside of the jacket) could be corroded. Would need to replace. A few years back my 07 Tahoe had this same issue, and after replacing the negative cable the issue was over.
