there is a bracket that attaches to the body that holds the z71 cladding on - i believe it is really only assurance that the piece stays put.
Without it i do not know if it will stay on. My thought, try it and see. Use 3m tape.
You got that right -- Soulsea for one. lol.. and its not even a tahoe.
But great inspiration though in this site. We just need a TYF neighborhood like that was stated in a thread years ago. Now that would be sweet.
Couple guys have black interior done on this forum. I would say search, but i had a hard time finding them a while back.
Will try to find and post it up.
One person is Carz - (may not be exact screen name, but close) Black yukon
That sucks Scott, but at least your going bigger with it. Waiting for mine to start doing anything so I can slap in 6.0 or 6.2 or 7.0 (ha ha)
going to sub to this for sure, keep us in the loop.
Eh.. this man may be on to someting here, but not sure..
and that is why sometimes I love this site. People are not e-thugs and say exactly what they think. lol..
But yeah the small sidewall is crazy looking on that lift, but since i know what your doing, it looks good. But again, i am biased.
Slow and steady Chris - it will become my twin.
Little update here:
Sold the 24's and got some temporary 17's w/ a bigger sidewall and adjusted the rear shocks a little softer and ride improved, even more so than my last post above. Almost forget about the ride before. Much better w/ the 17's than 24's, but looks is another thing. ha ha ha
Yeah that guy. (should of been more specific huh, lol)
Good to hear. Im going to try eventually once i get this all squared away, your bushings you sent me & other ones I have. See how they do.
You know I was thinking about going a little higher. But its about even right now with the rear, so im happy.
But may of finally half way understood the spring rates, etc. B/c adjusting the coil up to halfway, it started to get tough - I could feel the spring actually getting more stiff...
Yeah, im not sure about yours.
Measurements - have not done yet. Will get ya some soon.
Finally had a chance to use friends lift and do it the proper way. Much better than what I have told you.
Thanks - it was a long road.
UPDATE:
Did not forget about this thread -
Finally, yes finally tuned the front suspension and got the shock in the correct spot / halfway point. Mine has been on the lower side of the coil over - meaning instead of being at the halfway point, (which it needs to be at) mine was about 1" below...
At first I was like what?
Then I re-read it, well had someone else read it and got it. Did not for it to sound mean. Just always updating the OP.
Changed my wording just for you!!! ha ha
