Buy a 5" lift. I had 3.25-3.5 inches from rough country lower strut Spacers with bilstines on the 3rd clip. Put in new lower arms when I did that and in 300 miles the lowers had play. Dropped them down to the 2nd clip for a total of 2.5-2.75 inches and it was ok. Just buy a lift its only 1,000...
my Tahoe got hit in the right front and the insurance adjuster wont be here until next Friday, and I'm dying to start pulling it apart but I cant yet. does anyone have pics of theirs with the front clip off. I have searched for pics online trying to see whats what behind the fenders and grill. I...

Update:
So it's been a little while, maybe 1000-1200 miles, and I had one of my new lower balljoints go bad again so I had both sides warranted and changed the lower control arms again. I also dropped to the 2nd clip, taking. About 1/2 and inch out hopefully preventing this again. I never put...
2" spacers from rough countries scratched and dented section. I couldn't decide between 20x10 and 20x12 so I figured I'd run these with my stock wheels since it gives the same offset( sticks out) as a 20x10 -19 would. Good thing I did this since 20x12 would have been a bad idea and I'm already...
I wouldn't put spacers on with a 20x10 -24. They sit out 2" further than stock as is. Probably will need to do some cutting and that's a lot of offset. 31/32" tire 4" out when it's only 10" wide street tire will look funny I think.
Did the same thing on mine but I put them at the 3rd clip. I have had em in for few months now I think. I ordered rc uppers and so far they keep sending me the wrong set. The balljoint is to thick to fit properly into the spindle. When i did the lift and struts I put in new lowers and it's been...
First pic is mine on the 3rd clip with lower strut spacers, 2nd pic is my dads 08 1500 with just the lower strut spacer. Angles arnt to bad. I will be dropping the diff, working on making a spacer. Since The pictures I got rough country uppers, new lower arms with balljoints, new delco inner and...
Looks good. What size tires? did you happen to measure the fender heights? I put mine on the third clip with my ruff country lower spacers and a 1.5" spacer in the back. It still has the same 275/60r20 good years and stock sat at f36/r38 now it's 39.25 front and rear but it seems to vary 1/4 of...
Took my air powered 90* grinder with a green cookie on it just to clean the rust off. You could scrape it with a screw driver to if ya had to, but a grinder is easier. Don't grind anything than the surface rust. It's a compressed gas inside so don't be putting holes in it or weakening the case
Buying a suburban is your only option. Unless you can find a way to out suburban doors and a Tahoe without the door interfering with the rear wheels. That's why they don't go down all the way since the door is notched for the rear wheels
Went to the track to run my bike in the 1/4 mile forgot my jacket do I ran my truck. I'm number 1013. The truck that ran a 16.8 was a power stoke that I expected to be a lot faster due to the smoke it was dumping. Truck weighs 5815 without me in it. I'll try and post videos if it lets me
Put in the 1.5" spacers and shock extensions. Now it sits at 39.5 up front and 39.75-40 in the rear. I'll re-measure after I drive it around tomorrow. I don't know why the front is sitting higher than before, but it didn't change even after lifting the back.
Harbor freight motorcycle rack that I've had for about 5 or 6 years and use a lot. I'm going to be buying the 60$ carrier they have that's rated for 500lbs for my standup.
Super moto is 300/310 lbs and standup is 275lbs. I have done 2,000 mile trips with no problem
