Time for BJs/Tierods, new arms or just balljoints?

Yes, best deal around for quality parts. Better to get loaded control arms than just do ball joints.

Bilstein 4600's. Who's running them and what's a good price?

I run them up front, and LOVE them. Not Harsh or too firm! Thats the best price you will find, unless they fell off the back of a truck...

    This!

    Anyone try these?

Mine does since i converted the front Electronic dampening Delphi shocks to regular Bilstein 4600. Have you checked the code for that. I think you need more than OBDII to read that.

    Anyone try these?

My compressor never worked either since I bought the truck last fall. At 220k miles the original shocks/pump were trashed. There was also no check suspension lights on either. I installed everything (check my sig) at the same time (even front resistors) and the new pump fired right up. Works...

    Anyone try these?

    Correct.

    Anyone try these?

There is NO electronic dampening like the factory Delphi shocks. It's just a resistor that the plug goes into. It is probably a twin tube shock with constant valving.

New hub bolts when replacing hubs?

^^ He's right. You can put some locktite on though, make sure they are torqued properly.
  12. Merc1973

    Alignment Needed?

No, Probably not enough pressure in those shocks to change the ride height up front.

    Anyone try these?

Those are CHICOM Arnott Knock-offs. Avoid them. They are passive, NOT electronic.

Best option for replacing stock shocks

SEARCH, there are many many many many threads on this!!! My SLT Autoride now has Bilstein 4600 up front and Arnott AS-2700 in the rear and got a new Dorman air pump on Amazon. Its rides SUPER smooth, not harsh or rough or too soft where you get sea-sick.

Removing AC Compressor bracket without removing AC lines?

SO, its getting warm this winter, and I may need some AC, lol. Last fall, my AC idler pulley took a dump. Upon my attempt to install a new pulley one bolt snapped, its stuck in the AC compressor bracket. Now way to remove or drill/tap while in the truck. I have a new bracket waiting to go...

Replace entire AirRide System or Convert to Passive?? - 2003 Denali

Check your rear ride height sensors? Those metal rods rust out. One on each side connected to frame and upper control arm.

    MOOG upper control arm

Yes, you need to grease it. It come pre-greased, but not enough. Grease that zerk!!!! FIll until you see some bulging, but overly done. Most Moog boots have an overflow port where excess grease can get released to aboid bursting the boot from over-pressure. Make sure that port is INBOARD...

    GM Tech 2

Nice, I have the Autel AL619 for OBD/ABS/SRS from Amazon for about $105. Worked fine on my wife's Torrent for ABS issues and for a bad O2 sensor on the Yukon. It even comes with removable SD card for updates.

What did you do to your NBS GMT800 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

After months searching and scouring the web for reviews and opinions on the best Z55 Autoride replacement, I finally installed my Arnott AS-2700 rear air shocks (Arnott), front Bilstein 4600 (eshocks.com) , $15 eBay resistors and Dorman air pump 949-000 (Amazon) Yesterday. For only $600. Plus I...

    Arnott shocks

Yes new PREMIUM, non-electric air shocks. I purchased straight from Arnott since they do not honor warranty of shocks sold at ebay or auction sites, plus they will give you $50 when you ship them your old Delphi rear autoride shocks. The Arnott $600 kit is with their cheap shocks FYI. Height...

Update: I finally installed my Arnott AS-2700, front Bilstein 4600 and Dorman air pump 949-000 from amazon Yesterday. C.S. from Arnott told it doesn't matter if the pins are in or out. Once its aired-up, it forces the top of the shock piston to stay seated. WOW, it rides amazing!!!! Flat in...
