i replaced all three parts 2 years ago with ACDELCO parts. i see there are a two different purge solenoids i may have gotten the wrong one. I dont mind the stupid engine light its the smell of the gasoline with the AC on. I want the interior of the truck to be comfy as possible this summer.i...

been having this code for a long time, P0455, heres the run down
- all the emissions pieces were replaced with ACDELCO. from the gas cap to the piece in the engine bay, the name escapes me.
- ran smoke through the system both with less than half a tank of gas and a full tank of gas, no leaks...
having trouble finding an exact replacement by the usual way. i cross referenced on ebay that gave me a parts number that lined up with an AC delco radiator but it says "GAS; Excluding Rear Auxiliary Air Conditioning(C69); CORE SIZE 28-1/4 X 17 1/8 X 7/8; CODE JDS,AAT,CAN,AJR,GAN (DRAIN ****...
i got the go rhino one...installed myself wasnt so hard..3 years still looks good and it definitely works...helped pushed some cars out of slick ice spots with it. no damage!
i had a few of those tiny convinient ones leave me out in the cold with a weak battery. had to call a co worker to come jump me with cables. i got this and no lie have jumped over 30 cars of different sizes makes and models on a single charge including maybe mine 5 or 6 times with that...
looking to get some work done on my 04 Tahoe LT this year...after its done in the summer i want to get it undercoated...salt up in the north east is creating rust i wanna try and keep this truck going. anyone done it before with good long term results? particular brands work better than others? etc
rockers on both sides of my 04 tahoe LT are rusted...one side had a big ass hole in it too. i did some DIY patching with some bondo and a piece of metal sheet just to close it up and paint over it with some black to keep it looking okay. the rust ate through the black...got alot of work planned...
how can i check if my truck has hydroboost to replace that thing?
also...im having my mechanic do this but to exchange the old fluids with new fluids is the proper way to maintain this? want to keep up with the maintenance on this truck keep it going long as possible. not sure if it was done...
thinking of down the road to put a light bar and some yellow.white hazard flashers to help around the garage at work. ive heard that you have to be careful doing so as it restricts air flow to the cooling parts behind the grill. any thoughts on that? for something that isnt used all the time...
not sure if i have hydroboost....guess ill leave it be for now. how the rest of the setup look? thoughts on the lightbars above/below the tranny cooler? obviously wont be on all the time but think it would mess with the air flow in there?
yea it crumbles if you touch it the power steering part. in my head i thought everything was like that until i found a recent pic i took of it. worth it to replace the power steering part? how the rest look? would putting strobe hazard lights/light bar across mess with theser parts?
