Front fan not working (HVAC) plz help

Did you get it figured out? I replaced the resistor this summer after having to kick or hit under the dash near the blower to make it work. New resistor worked fine until couple of days ago. Just bought and installed a new resistor today. Still didn’t work. Decided to hit the bottom of the...

    Tinted Black Cherry Metallic Denali

Must be nice to be in CA. I've seen some cars here in PA with all 4 windows so dark you can't see in, but I don't think we're allowed to tint the windshield. Any pics of your windshield and from inside looking out?

    Sport Wing

Come on guys. Clearly the Tahoe is a former Secret Service transport for presidential detail. The bar is for the agents to hold onto while standing on the rear bumper.

Big Family - Trade Tahoe for Suburban?

07 Denali XL and 01 Ford Excursion here. 6.2 vs 6.8. I love the room that having a full size (for the width) long wheelbase (for the cargo room)gives us. Three kids, one in a booster and youngest in rear facing car seat. As said before, we have folding chairs and a stroller in the back of the...

    10 ply tires on a 1/2 Suburban?

That's good to hear. That's why it's important to do the research. I'm sure not all C tires are as strong as yours.

2" wheel spacers or -19 offset

X2 on this. I ran RC 1.5" spacers on my 06 GE TJ for several years. They were still on it when I sold it. Every time I rotated my tires I would check a lug on each corner with a torque wrench set at 100 lb/ft. They never came loose. Of course I used red Loctite on them as well.

Z-71 coils in rear of Denali XL

I took a bunch of photos, but I think I have to put them on photobucket to post them. Here's what I learned: the rear springs look new compared to everything else under the truck. They have a tag that says 25783732 YWJ , which according to the web are stock rear coils for the Denali XL. Also...

Z-71 coils in rear of Denali XL

Wife's off today, so after work I'll get pics. It's very hard for me to get under it; I don't fit under the running board so I have to suck it in and crawl under from behind. The axle makes it a squeeze. Lol

Z-71 coils in rear of Denali XL

I looked at a previous reply of mine from another post and saw that I had measured the height at 36.5" front and rear. And that makes sense about the front fenders. Guess I'm sagging 2" in rear. When we bought it I wondered if it was lowered due to the stance and the fact that it had dark blue...

Z-71 coils in rear of Denali XL

When the wife gets home from work I'll park it on level ground and get a side pic. I think I posted measurements before of the height of the center of wheel well to ground; IIRC it was 37" front and rear. Sounds level, but with the slight downward curve of the roof, it looks lower in the rear.

    Anyone running no cats?

I live in north central PA in a very rural county. Though we do not have emissions testing, they do perform a visual inspection of all emissions equipment, including the exhaust. If any of the cats are missing, they could fail you. You could purchase some hi-flo cats to replace your bad ones and...

Z-71 coils in rear of Denali XL

Posted this in wrong forum a few days ago… So I bought the wife a 2007 Yukon Denali XL last year. I didn't know anything about the suspension, and as it turns out the rear air shocks/compressor doesn't work. I like the soft cushy ride compared to my 2001 Excursion. Problem is the Yuk sits...

Z-71 coils on rear of Denali XL?

Can't crank it. It has factory struts in front. I'll just put the spacers between the a-arm and the strut. Had a 01 Explorer Sport that I raised 2" by cranking the torsion bars, and put air shocks in rear. Fit LT 265/75r16 on it.

Z-71 coils on rear of Denali XL?

Sounds good. If it looks to high in rear I'll add lower spacers in front. If need be I'll change the rear shocks too.
