Looking at RockAuto site, there are way too many choices to choose from.
2008 Yukon SLT 2WD
My Yukon is a daily driver that I just got. The ride is real cushy, but it does have this front to back roll/wave that it does when going over uneven roads or bumps. It has 100K miles so I can't say...
My 2008 Yukon has 2 cracks on the dash. One that lines up with the left side of the steering wheel and the other next to the left side of the passenger airbag.
I have had at least 15 cars in my time and not once have I seen the paint peel off dashboard switches like this. Is this some sort of a defect? Can I buy these dials and buttons individually or do I have to buy a whole new panel?
When I look at this, I am reminded of the paint peeling off my...
Is there an option or setting somewhere on my 2008 Yukon that will automatically close the sunroof (assuming it's open) when I turn the vehicle off? I recall the last car I had with a sunroof working this way.
Thanks.
I called the local GMC dealer and the AC Delco spark plug wires (748RR) are $145.28. The same wires are $68.99 + $7 shipping from RockAuto. Amazon has the same set for $58.13 shipped free.
Going with Amazon....
I did get the new ac delco 41110 spark plugs in tonight. That last one near the firewall on the passenger side was a challenge. I left the plug wiress off for now since I can't quite makeup my mind.
I do see the reviews on amazon are good for autolite plug wires. They come with a 5 year...
Without the dealer being open today, the only plug wires I can find are these Autolite Professional Series Plug Wires from Advanced Auto. Advanced Auto says these are the "best" option they sell. Having a hard time deciding whether to install these are go find a set of AC Delco from my local...
Do you happen to know the part number for OEM plug wires on Rock Auto that go with those 41110 spark plugs? I see there are 10 different choices for a complete set, but maybe it doesn't matter?
That's all good information. I am thinking of just doing one or two items at a time. I started with the easiest, new air filter and MAF sensor. :party36:
My 2008 Yukon with 95K miles on it has this almost "boat roll" when going over uneven road. I am thinking shocks need to replace, but I am not sure which ones to choose to firm up that bounce.
I have been looking at floor mats on ebay, weather tech, and husky liners and am having a hard time finding an exact fit. Weather Tech has a complete set, but doesn't include the long narrow aisle section between the captain's chairs. Is there a name for the piece?

I have what I believe is the factory 20 inch wheels on my Yukon. I am not sure of the finish. They are shiny, but not polished chrome shiny. Is that just a shiny aluminum finish? There are some oxidizing spots on the wheel that I would like to address, but don't want to ruin them in the process...
I plan to take it to the dealer this week and see what they say. I have never seen paint stick to plastic that long anyway. I would prefer metal door handles.
Hopefully replying to an old thread is not a problem, but I didn't want to create a new one with the exact same question.
I have the same problem on my 2008 Yukon. I have 1 interior door handle peeling and 2 exterior door handles peeling. Someone mentioned TSB. What is that referring to?
I just purchased a 2008 Yukon last week that has just under 100K miles on it. I simply love the vehicle. As I am getting close to 100K miles, I am starting to wonder what maintenance items are suggested/recommended at the 100K mark. Also, what items can I do and what ones should I leave for the...
