My dash is cracked in 3 places, two at the corners of the airbag and right in front of the gauge cluster. Mine is an 07.5 and with 251k mi on her I don't know if my local dealer will do anything for me but I am going to give it a try lol...
That's a great deal. If I duplicated my burb new it would be over $70k!?!?! Right now I am looking really hard a 3/4 ton. One just popped up near me so I am going to look at it this week.
Since I have purchased my 07.5 burb, I have done the following not in any specific order...
Cracked dash in 3 spots... - doesn't help its blk
Bought an AFM module
Fuel overflow sensor on top of the gas tank had to be replaced
Front hubs redone
Rack and pinion redone twice - under warranty
Oil...
I've thought about this but I can't justify to myself spending $40k on a burb with 80-100k mi on her when I bought my 07 in 10 with 66k for $29k... That's tough to swallow for a 1/2 ton. Granted gas was $3 when I bought my burb so I know that played into the price.
What I would prefer is a 3/4 diesel burb but that is a pipe dream... I've thought about a 3/4 ton burb or just another 1/2 ton but the next truck I get I plan on keeping for a long time as it will probably turn into strictly a tow/hunt/fish.
LOL... Portsmouth Island, SOBX NC. One of my...
This is my problem. I have the trucks in my signature, 99 hoe stock completely with 150k and 07 burb with 251k. The burb is the daily driver and the hoe is our 3rd car. I am seriously considering selling both or at least the burb. I am thinking about a 3/4 burb or (sorry guys) a diesel...
The rear 2" spacer lift sits under the coils on the rear axles and is already installed. Because of this, the shocks are over extended. I purchased the 2" shock bracket extender that mounts on the bottom shock bolt to bring the shock back to normal length to function properly. The ride...
Yes, the front shocks are regular passive gas shocks. The module Arnott tricks the computer system that everything is ok. The 2" spacer goes on top of the coil over so the shock is still stock length. The rear shocks are not coil overs so the shocks are extended too much. Because of that...
I have a 2" spacer lift on my 07 burb. I replaced the original suspension front and rear with replacement kits for Arnott using their non-electric front shocks with plugs to disengage the front magneride and their direct rear replacement shocks and air compressor. I also went up 2 sizes in...
Like really hot air. When I first turn the burb on , I can then turn on the compressor for ac and here it come on and then the air gets cold. Then after like a minute, the compressor turns off and the air goes to hot and I can't even turn it down with the controller on the dash. I can...
I can hear the motor running and the latch sometimes will release and sometimes it won't. I did replace the gas struts for the glass and gate itself. Where is the module located...?
Both of the codes for the cam shaft sensors popped up in my check engine light. My mechanic told me while neither is absolutely necessary, there is one that is easy to replace and one that is in the middle of the engine...?
Can anyone help that has done either or recommend whether they are...
Best picture I have is the one in m signature. 2" Suncore spacers front and rear. Running 275/60/R20s. I'll try to find a before but its been 2yrs since I've had it on the burb.
Thanks for the info and I will be ordering those longer sensor arms asap! I just used the Suncore spacer lift 2" that bolts on top of the coil over on the front and a 2" spacer that sits under rear coil spring. I used the 2" spacers on all four corners but I also went up two sizes on tires to...
So I did a 2" spacer lift kit front and rear on the burb and I need to adjust the rear airride sensors to make the shocks level when towing, as she sags 2-3" when hooked up to the boat because the sensor won't trip the compressor. I have read somewhere that there could be some aftermarket...
My check engine light is showing that I have two cam sensors that are either dirty or need to be replaced. Its my understanding that one of them is easy to change but the other one requires half the engine disassembled to replace it.
Can anyone shoot me straight on this? It is on the burb in...

Just signed up but I've been creeping for a while. My burb is in my signature. I've had a bowtie SUV since I turned 16 and wouldn't have it any other way. Previous bowties were an 88 6.2 Diesel 4x4 Burb sold @205k, 99 Hoe sold @ 215k and now I have the 07 burb and another 99 hoe with only...
I bought mine for my 07 burb off etrailer.com. Think it ran about $160. 20min install. Kit had 6 bolts, two of the holes were already in the frame and just had to drill the other 4. I love it.
I installed mine the same time i installed my 2" lift cause it was LOW to the ground to clear...
