Well....the oil ain't hot. Not flowing. Just the ambient heat under the hood. Nary a problem and my oil pressure reads good. I will have to look up some receipts (if I can find them) for the parts for this. Note that the engine was out when we put this on. Pretty easy to get to then..ha ha.
I have an '02 F-150. Due to brake dragging problems, I removed the ABS module. I ordered replacement headers for the brake lines to the module from "Big Billet". No proportioning valve. Brakes are good. Pulled the dash apart and painted over the ABS light. All ok now.
Don't know if they make...
I took my drivers' seat out and did not disconnect battery....no problems. I also replaced the seat cushion with one from the shop mentioned above. It's kinda hard, but I like it.
I have a '12 and really don't see how I could get a deep trans pan on without dropping the exhaust system ! Lots of work and would have to do it each time a filter change was due.
The main thing on this is to find the fittings. Bushings from hose to truck...from hose to a coupling that is put onto the sensor. I forget the thread size of the truck/sensor but think the hose was 1/4" NPT and about a foot long. Fittings easy to get off e bay.
goo....how do you get Torque Pro? I have the MX+ also...do I download it to the phone? Do you run one or the other as desired after plugging in to the vehicle ?? Thank You
When we had the engine out for the cam job...I modded my oil pressure sender by using a grease gun hose and the fittings to adapt it to a sender. Also increased the length of the sender wires....now my sender is laying right on the intake manifold. Can change it easily if need be.
I have the Truck Norris NSR cam. Think it's stage I. Runs great but at idle, it's ruff. Wants to surge when stopped. Need higher stall because I got stock now. It's got lope at idle...lots of lope and I like that but not the surging. Still checking the gas mileage so not sure about that.
That's what I did...siphon the old oil out...making sure to get the stuff out from the very bottom (had to make a copper tubing piece hooked to the hose),,,,easier to do that way.
Howdy Gents. I can only find 2 zerks under my Tahoe. One on each outer tierod end. Are there any more to grease ? Looking at inner tierod end....it is under the rubberized accordian cover....see no way to get it off to check (easily)
Thank You.
When my engine was out for the cam job, I installed a 1 foot grease gun hose for the oil pressure sensor. Got fittings off ebay. Now the sensor lies up close to the purge valve alongside the intake manifold. No problems changing that baby now ! The mechanic extended the wiring for it. Grease gun...
