    I have a 17' Denali with the 8speed and don't have any either of the issues you mentioned. The trans shifts very smoothly even right after a cold start-up. I would take it to the dealer and get it looked at if I were you. Still under warranty so it won't cost you anything.

    I have a 17 Yukon XL Denali in Black Cherry Metallic that I got tinted this week. Went Limo all around and 50% on the windshield. Love the color!! Will be getting the rims powdercoated gloss black next week and getting all the chrome trim wrapped black.

    Had this issue as well in my 17 XL Denali. Took it to the dealer and they replaced the lower seat frame, haven't had the issue since.

    I do a lot of overlanding and have always had a vehicle equipped with a 2 speed transfer. I just purchased a '17 XL Denali which has the 2 speed transfer case...you'll wish you had the low range gear if you hit deep sand especially with such a heavy vehicle.

    I just purchased a 2017 Yukon XL Denali and put 2000 miles on it in the past 4 days. I hear a slight ticking coming from the same area. Will take it in to have it looked at.
