Great looking ride! Standard maintenance isn’t a deciding factor when it comes to values. That is the prerequisite for the book value. If those things aren’t done it should be worth less. When I bought my 2013 the fella wanted 20k. That was book value at the time but it needed so much...
As expensive as oil has become, I figure why not use the best. I run Amsoil oil and filters. I would stick with 5w30. The price isn't bad for the level of quality you get. Nothing wrong with the other main synthetic brands when changed at a sane interval either.
No Polish. That’s what the ceramic coat is for. It’s a sacrificial layer. It does a good job of keeping most scratches away. Just a clay and coat. I actually use a clay mitt now.
They’re all the same to me. Just as long as it has Sio2 in the same percentage as the rest it will all be the same. It’s not rocket science. I liked chemical guys Hydrocharge the best and it’s pretty inexpensive for how much you get. It was super easy to put on and seems to flash easier. I’ve...
I scrubbed the old truck. Then clay bar and added another ceramic coat. Yes they only last about 6 months. Don’t let anyone lie to you. There’s isn’t one that will ever last a year let alone 6 years, when you actually drive them. Ceramic coat is super easy to use and protects very well. I would...

here’s one. If you’re gonna do it, do it.
it will be a good long lasting vehicle when finished. Might want to put a billet...
If you have the means to drop the pan and swap filter, and extra 6 fresh quarts aren’t going to hurt it. As @NickTransmissions said it could be a cracked filter. At worst you see what’s in the pan and get you down the road with some cleaner fluid.
Yes. There’s a coin type that looks like it has a keychain hole but it’s actually where you can bend the tip without touching the delicate parts. Don’t use the Slide part to gap, only to check the actual gap. Use the little hole to widen the gap.
If you buy plugs, check the gaps. They say you don’t have to gap them but almost every one of my AC Delco plugs I bought from Rockauto were gapped at like 15-20, instead of 40. They tell you to return them and purchase new ones but that might take a while, with how many are not correct.
I know after this second tank of E85 my Denali runs a whole lot better than with 91. I don’t even have to barely push the peddle for it to move down the road.
