I've used a range Device since I bought it at 41k and it's been in V8 since then. Currently at 133k.Is the AFM disabled on your rig? What type of miles have you run so far.
Where do we learn more about this? I'd bet we'd all like to be a lil bit more at ease.If you learn about the Dexos certification and the fact that GM recommends (for good reason) to use Dexos oil, then it might ease your mind about 0W20.
I get why the professional thing to do would be to base the oil change on the computer recommendation.Personally, I use the manufacturer's recommendation of Dexos 0W20 and usually base the oil change on the computer recommendation (which uses highly advanced calculations for oil life).
I just did a search on the Internet.Where do we learn more about this? I'd bet we'd all like to be a lil bit more at ease.
or maybe how gullible most people have become?…It's also interesting to note that Mobile 1 Extended is now saying you can get 20,000 between oil changes. No doubt many would not do that, but it is an indication of how advanced oils have become.
