No rear AC just blowing hot air

Your post says just blows hot air. First I would confirm that the blend door for the rear ac works. Switch it from full cold to full hot and you'll hear a difference and if the engine is at operating temp then you'll feel the difference too. If that checks out ok then its an issue with the AC...

2006 Tahoe/AC charged but Compressor not turning

Right.. Sorry if I cause confusion with the outer pulley terminology. The clutch is on the outside/front of the belt pulley on the compressor

If the outer pulley is also turning, then your clutch is engaged

2006 Tahoe/AC charged but Compressor not turning

So... Is the belt still on? There is a separate belt and tensioner solely for the ac compressor

Window regulator brands that aren’t junk

    A/C Compressor Clutch?

    Nailed it.

    A/C question

Also, good on ya for avoiding stop leak products.. do NOT use them. Stop leaks function by turning into a threadlike substance when they get exposed to moisture. That crap will CLOG your condenser, orifices, expansion valves, etc. It causes much more harm than good.

    Rear AC overhead controls

Blower speed works manually in all speeds. The temp is either full cold or full hot. No inbetween no matter where I set the temp

    Rear AC overhead controls

Here is my setup. So the front system. If i put it in auto, it controls everything perfect. The rear system. If I flip it to auto, all it does it turn the blower to max. Thats it. It doesnt blend the temp or maintain anything.

    Rear AC overhead controls

Hey guys. Man its been a while, life has been amazing and just been busy ya know. Anyhow.. My 00 yukon. Does anyone have info on how the rear hvac module is supposed to function? If I put it in auto, it just blasts the blower on high speed and full cold. It doesnt keep the temp you set it at...

    A/C question

Yeah man... unfortunately you should probably stop at this point unless you are knowledgeable about the AC system.. You need low AND high side pressure readings. You have probably overcharged it or got non condensables in your system or worse, your compressor is locking up and thats why its...

Air coming in near passenger side footwell while driving

Hey guys, I posted about this a while back and also I KNOW there is a thread/TSB/etc about this but I cant find it for the life of me so I'll ask again... When driving above 40mph, cold outside air blows into the truck thru the glove box/passenger footwell area. Have others had this issue? I...

AC Issues - Wiring compressor clutch to a switch

The most important thing you need to do here is verify you're getting actual running voltage 13.5 to 15.3volts to the clutch. Like the other guys said, theres a clutch cycling switch on/near the accumulator and a high pressure safety on the compressor or on the discharge line.. Over time these...

AC Issues - Wiring compressor clutch to a switch

Stop just replacing the clutch. Thats a waste of time. All there is to it. You get 12 volts to engage the clutch. Unless you have some sort of crazy erratic on/off (which you would most definitely hear and notice with poor ac performance), then the clutch is/was probably fine and something else...

Hey guys. Long time no talk! Man its been a crazy year so far. To recap... so if I have this right. With my RPO code ZW7 that had self leveling rear suspension. I need to make sure I have the shorter rear springs if i replace with regular shocks of my choice correct? I dont want to keep the...

    Another HVAC POST

Sounds like there's something wrong with the control head. When the control heads go bad they make the actuators do weird things. In my 00 yukon the control head kept cycling the recirculation actuator from open to closed repeatedly with no reason. Replaced control head and issue went away...

Thanks guys. Can someone elaborate a bit on all the options I'm seeing? Specifically on the Rockauto website. Example: premium ride, smooth ride, etc. Autoride and electronic suspension I do not have on my truck What do those mean exactly? How can I tell what my truck came with? Sent from my...

Hey everyone. Happy new year. We are wanting to replace the shocks on our 00 yukon. Ride is getting kinda bouncy. Whatever is on it now is what the previous owner put on. They are not OE. I'm currently running 275/65R18s on her. Nothing else as far as mods for the most part. We take it on...
