    2017 Tahoe LS – Liftglass not opening

    Yes the lift glass does open separate from the door. When the button is pressed there is a very audible clunk releasing the glass and the glass pops up a little. Then insert fingers under the edge and lift.I have a 2015 LS.

    Yes it is in all the newer models . There is no point in charging flat out if it does not need all that is available.

    Anyone own a Yukon and Durango?

    I had rented a 2016 Durango Limited,3.6 engine. It wasn't bad but a lot of road noise and very touchy throttle. I found the seats a little tight as so did my wife as compared to my Tahoe 2015 in the body shop,i was side swiped down the right side..Power not bad but just seemed tighter to fit...

    HID malfunction

    I also have also installed HID's and have the problem of them coming on then shutting off. I just checked the start voltage is 12+ volts then switches to 5.25 volts when they shut off.So it seems they need a load resistor or I think what 16SLT is doing will probably fix it and keep the voltage...

    Resonating and droning.

    Just a thought about vehicles that have been tuned. Do you notice any difference as compared to before the tuning in the drone or resonating ? Just curious if it changed due to torque manegment or any other adjustments you might have done to the vehicle stock parameters.

    No the seat was manual. They still install the same way. The storage box is held in with big thumb bolts.     No they are flat but on an incline .I rarely carry more than 4 people so i removed the storage compartment and the third row seat,now it is flat with the second row fold all the way up.

    Long road trip - take the 'burban or a sedan?

    I am from north of TO and do many trips to Mich.Indiana and NY. I spend anywhere from 4 to 9 hrs driving,i find the seats in my 2015 LS very comfortable.The center consul i find is a little on the tall side.6'3" 220 lbs.I really enjoy driving the 2015 over my old 2000 LT.

    I took out storage box and 3rd. row seat for my dogs and the floor is reasonably flat{anchor points } a thick mat would sort it out .Not as nice and flat as older Tahoe, Burbs though.

    I think most places now require head lights to be on at all times or at least some lights on other than HL.

    Side mirror/puddle light

    I bought 2 puddle lights for my LS to retro fit and they are one piece LED lights that snap in to the housing. There is a left and a right version because they are angled for pattern.

    Headlamps

    Yes that is the screw. The horizontal cut off line at 25 ft. should be at the same height as the center of the headlight as in the projector lens. It can be on the line or slightly lower on low beam. The adjustment i think is in the owners manual.Or get the shop to adj. it to spec.

    GM Issues 3.6 Million Vehicle Recall for Airbag. Yukon, Tahoe/Subur/Escalade on List

    I had my 2015 Tahoe done today ,about an hour. No problems. It seems all of the specified vehicles are to be done .It is for air bag and seat belt restraint system. Over 3 million vehicles sounds like all of them produced.

    Center console

    No just the portion that has the USB and power port and cup holders. I want to access the connections for the power ports to add another one next to the existing one.
