We just took delivery of a 2017 Yukon SLT. The brochure and GM adverting says that the second and third row seats fold flat for cargo. There is a substantial incline from the back of the vehicle the the second row seats when the second and third row seats are folded "flat". The owners manual states that if the second row seats do not fold flat, they may be too close to the front seats. Well I made sure the front seats are well forward but the second nor third row seats do not fold anywhere near flat. Is there something that I am not doing correctly or is this just false advertising?

Thanks, I will want to do the same. Were your third row seats power fold? Can you tell me how to take the storage compartment and third row seats out and what to look out for?

No the seat was manual. They still install the same way. The storage box is held in with big thumb bolts. The seats are held in with 15 mm bolts which are easy to get to.A couple are under plastic trim covers but they just snap into place or remove.I just screwed the removed bolts back into the holes they came out of and just filled in the matting with thick felt padding then a rear cargo floor protector. There is a thread started by a member with pictures showing removal. amscomp posted Aug 27/14
