    Put the socket on the rear plug , just the socket. Use a 3/4 open end and turn the socket. Works fer me.

    The plugs are supposed to be properly gapped out of the box , don't bet on it. Gap the plugs.

    That "thing" moving that he is pointing to is the waste gate actuator. Looks to be a mechanical actuator instead of the typical vacuum. More positive control of the waste gate or boost.

    Just Fishing........don't seal cedar with anything. Stuff like oil etc. Thompsons water seal is ok. Cedar does best oiled once in a while esp. the bottom near the ground.

    Another member here for keeping the VVT , it's a decision you have to make. PS.....I work pt to keep busy and out of the ole bats hair driving a truck a few days a week. It's a 2020 gasser and when there is a load on it driving up a hill I SWEAR that the VVT can be felt kicking in.

    Install a larger transmission oil cooler first. Then make sure you install a weight distributing hitch with sway control for safety.
