Unfortunately you have to buy the panel, GM will not sell just the wood. So yes, I bought all four panels and swapped the trims. The Yukon’s changed the wood in 2018 on the interior.
Loving how it turned out!! Why the hell is this not an option from GM!? Pretty straight forward swap, rear door only have one screw. I don't think wrap would have looked as good in my opinion. Now to sell the grey/black door panels with my wood trim installed
So it is possible. There are screws that hold it on along with clips. You can see I broke two of the clips getting it off. Need to be careful when removing.
Loving the grey color. I just swapped the grey in for my center console on my 2017 Denali. I have a door panel coming with the grey wood, hopefully its easily swappable from one to the other.
Okay, here are my CV angles. Drives fine around town, again its my wife's mall cruiser. Did not change gears, just added a Throttle Commander. Highly recommend it, simple and effective. Get your throttle response back!
With not being able to adjust the trans is there any improvement with the auto cal to the everyday drivability? Looking to add one to my wife's 2017 Denali XL, only mod is an afe intake so far performance wise.
Only issue I’m having is the backup lines will not stay on while in reverse. MVI is working on a fix for it, something to do with the rear entertainment system on the 2017s.
We cut the MVI camera off and then used the MVI wires to plug into the correct pins on the escalade oem connector. Just trial and error to figure out what pins
The cadi mirrors I bought had oem cameras yes. The kit from MVI, I had to buy the side cameras for the wiring and motherboard that goes behind head unit. Even though I didn't use the MVI cameras I needed the other parts that came with their kit to make the Escalade OEM mirrors work.
I bought two oem Escalade mirrors with the camera and all options. The full 360 surround system with the mirror iPhone option from MVI. You have to buy the kit with their cameras but we simply cut the cord and spliced into it. So yes, we had to run wires. We used the MVI wire from the dash to...
Ride is great still! It did rub on the steps and the lower portion of the rear front fender. With the Amp steps and the 1.5" leveling added to the front seems fine now.
I used Bora 1.5” wheel spacers all the way around. The front is right st 40” with the 1” spacer added to Fabtech kit. The 285/50 measure out to 33.5” tall.
Surprised the Fabtech front spacer is so small. These were my tire choices. Stock, 285/50, and 285/55 r22. Nitto terra grapplers
You can see them against the 35” tires on my 2500
Yeah, I’ve always had my trucks nose high. Even my wife likes them like that now. Lol. Only running a 1” or 1.5” I can get but without moving the rear shock down. If I go with a 2” I’ll have to add the rest of the rear kit. I’ll have to make the call after swapping the 1” for the 1.5” in front...
Just got mine done yesterday. Fabtech 4" kit, with a 1" spacer in the front under the strut, 1" suspensionmaxx rear spacer. 285/50R22 Nitto grapplers on OEM 22's. Rubbed on the steps, ordered amps to fix that. Also rubbed on the rear of the front fender when turning sharp, took the grinder and...
