I bought my 06 2500 6yrs ago after losing my 05YXL to an old man who ran a light. Gotta say it’s been the best vehicle next to my 12 FJ Cruiser. I’m running 285’s on H2 wheels with my 6.0 and 4.10’s.
I’m getting 10 in the city, 11ish on the Hwy. best I ever got was 14.1 while I was in the mountains of NM. I’m running 285/70-17’s on H2 wheels and it has 241k miles.
You can use a shop vac on the lines. I did that with my sons tahoe and cleared them. I also disconnected the purge lines at the tank and blew compressed air from the intake back. Make sure you have a tight connection on the vacuum. Shake the lines as you go also. You’ll know when you have the...
I replaced the autoride shocks with Bilstien 5100’s on my 06 2500. I deleted the autoride also. My fronts started knocking going over bumps with 200k on the clock. The ride was good but couldn’t justify spending $1k on all four. The 5100’s have been fantastic.
Take a mirror and look at the valley cover at the rear on the drivers side. Mine is leaking a bit there on my 6.0 2500 burb, and I have a couple friends with the same issue
