Got the CAI installed this weekend. It looks and sounds way better! On the highway I maybe got .5 mpg better. Nothing to write home about but for $50 the look and sound is worth it. I painted it with Rustoleum Flat Black Enamel
Both sets of lights are Depos? That looks like a great setup I want to get on my truck!
You have the Depo Part #s?
Side note: What is that badass aftermarket front bumper?!
Just ordered the Ebay CAI! Can't beat the price for the "minimal" gains! I'm going to plasti dip that chrome tube though! too shiny for my blacked out/dark theme! Won't be here until next week but will post pics while I install it next weekend
My lock was punched twice.....the second time my Hoe was cleaned out. I did the retro fit of a rear door handle to eliminate that issue.
Mine has the flat button for the rear glass. Staying tune for whats under that bad boy
I have a 2006
Do you have aftermarket tow mirrors with the puddle lights? Theres a video on the 2nd page of this build thread about hooking up the puddle lights to turn on.

Mine used to be a garbage can. I finally cleaned it out last year and found receipts from 2011.....:Nonono:
Finally installed a Console Vault so just my guns and mags. Unless I want to leave something of value in the car while I'm out. Then I'll toss it in there.
The mess has moved to the...
He did the rocker trim and the bumpers in the heavier duty line-x. said it will stand up to chips.
The ultra was put on the roof rack, front windshield airdam, and the faux vents above the tail lights. It is a lot smoother than the what he called the tougher 330. I will try to post close ups...
Dropped it off yesterday. Hopefully it will be done today or in the morning. Pics will come this weekend when I get some time in the Daylight to take some! Decided to do the rear faux vents above the tail lights and the chevy emblem on the grill too.
Went by the Line-X Shop yesterday. Guy quoted me $625. Includes removal and re-installation of all the trim and roof rack to spray, brand new clips for all the plastic trim, the tougher line-x on the rockers and the new ultra coating on the roof rack. Getting it done one Tuesday, so I will post...
My NBS has the plastic trim on the bottom of the doors/rockers and on the bumpers. Is the trim on the doors/rockers covering OEM paint? Not sure I can take the trim off the bumpers though so I would paint them black instead of the faded gray. The front valence would have to be painted too
So realistically if I'm just trying to raise and level good enough for the 285/70/17 to stop rubbing, I would only need about 1.5-2" I feel like. I would try to get the Ford keys and use the Z71 springs I have. Not trying to go crazy just want to keep it simple. I don't feel like spending all...
What kind of lift did you use? I have 285/70/17 on my stock height. Only rubs in revers with wheel turned to the right. Wanting to up a little to remedy it
So I have a 2006 Z71. Running 285/70/17. If i want to raise the front and use the aftermarket keys, then I should be good on the rear with the Z71 springs?
I love the mirrors (sorry late to the party). What mirrors did you order? and also my 2006 has an auto fold in feature. Do you think these mirrors could be wired up and have that feature work with different setup?
Yea I don't see too many of the Bermuda Blue around. I love the color. Your stuff looks good! I need to figure out if I want to do it my self or just have it done. Thanks for the info
