I went to the body shop for an estimate
I was stopped about a block from the high school that just let out. A teenage girl slammed into my Tahoe. She got out and said my brakes went out. I wish the police would have asked to look at her phone.
Her Grand Prix didn’t fare so well

I would suspect a bad/burnt connection on the passenger seat harness. You could unbolt the seat, and flip it over to inspect the electrical connections.
I have it on, in my Tahoe and the wife's Cadillac. The cell phone will work in areas where my regular cell phone won't. I find it much easier to reach up and push the button for directions than using my iphone or the cars navigation.
Sell it as is for $1000 and buy something else. It's not going to stop being a money pit after a new engine. What are you going to do after you get the new engine in and the trans goes out, spend another $2500 on it? plus it's going to remind you of the Ex every time you drive it.
It's been two weeks and they are still working perfect. I would suggest everyone with heated seats to look at their harness and see if it's rubbing on the metal bracket. I am glad it didn't short out the seat module. Big $$
The heated seats on my 2012 LT have been acting up all winter. They would both work sporadically. Sometimes for 10 min and sometimes for 30 seconds. They would heat when the switch would light up like normal. I was pretty sure it wasn’t bad heating elements. I finally scanned it and got...
One of my friends has a 2016 LTZ with 40,000 miles. I just rode 500 miles in it. No weird noise or buffeting. They have not had one problem with it. Oil changes and a set of tires. They will buy another one , once this one hits 75,000 miles.
I was asking a friend with a ‘16 if they have buffeting. He said no. In fact no issues in 40k miles. He said they will probably trade it in next year for one just like it.
