I would recommend a 2009 and up so you get the 6 speed trans. Buy the best one you find in your price range.
I’m the opposite my family would disown me if I bought other than GM. I have 5 GM in my household and luv them all.

My '12 Tahoe center console lid squeaks when I rest my arm on it. I added a couple of small clear silicone stick on bumpers , thinking that it would keep it tighter and not squeak but it didn't help. Any suggestions?
I test drove a used 2017 and really liked everything but the $49k price tag. Then I found and bought a loaded low mileage 2012 with all the options I wanted for $20k less. I am happy with my decision. The only way I would buy a 15 is if I had a bumper to bumper warranty.
I did the SLP resonator delete today. SLP forgot to put clamps in the box but they gladly sent some on the UPS truck in two days.

I pulled the module off today and the plugs were nice and tight. I checked and there is power and ground. I am assuming the module is bad.

On my new to me 2012 Tahoe the Rear seat entertainment does not function. No lights on, rear seat heaters or any other functions such as fan speed. Completely blank. I tried pressing the power button numerous times. The DVD player overhead works fine. Also the DVD remote control lights up but...
I filled mine up with E85 last night. Drove 50 miles and could not tell a difference in power or mileage. I never tried it before and thought I would try one tank. It was 50 cents a gallon cheaper. The town I live in does not have an E85 pump so I doubt I will buy it again.
