    10 speed is setup like a ford trans. Not shocked since they worked with ford on it. You over fill slightly and remove the hose and thread the plug back in. The threaded nipple fitting should be easily found if its the same as on any other ford trans.

    If they do quality work they will check for play in the pinion bearings and that there are no other factors that could cause premature wear. If all looks good install a new seal and fill with fresh fluid. If they just try to quick flip it back out they will swap seals and send it.

    Looks like a bad pinion seal. Likely got installed poorly when built or it was damaged before install. Also the paint thing sucks. I cant stand people who do not secure their junk they are hauling. It infuriates me to no end.

    2016 2wd failed at 94k miles. No shutter just nothing past 2nd. Converter had sent trash through the trans. Had it rebuild by TK performance and run a PATC billet converter and have 0 issues at this point. Im only at 111k now but its holding up well.

    just to try to help out I would check the flapper valve. When in V4 it helps with drone from the exhaust and sits in a more closed position. I would wire or bolt it wide open and see if the rattle continues. It would not be the first case of one going bad.
