SLT is very similar to a Tahoe LT with the luxury package. Only difference I am aware of is the cooled seats.
The LT price you are looking at does not have all the luxury package items. If you don't want them and only really want leather then LT is the way to go.
The deal breakers for me were...
Update 5/28/14:
Installed the mcgaughy's spring relocators tonight. Took me quite a long time...
But came out great! I got about 1.5" of
Drop with both spacers in. So it seems to get a little more drop than advertised.

Rear 38 36

The current generation is very hard to compare apples to apples because there are more denali exclusive features. But, if you equip them as close as possible the Denali is about 2,500 more than an LTZ with tow package (standard on denali). Considering you get the 6.2 for that money it is a great...
Mine doesn't even if on auto... I have the rear controls locked and set to auto and sync.
Thought of a few more:
3. Cooled seats remember last setting) again toggle switch rather than default to off.
4. Allow recirculate in auto AC mode. Changing to recirculate currently kicks it out of auto...
You can raise or lower with magnetic ride control. However it might require modifying sensor links... Etc.
The one I am aware of on here that is lowered with magnetic ride said it was extra work to take apart the magnetic ride shocks.

9005 Osram Cool Blue from Theretrofitsource.com

These don't seem to be options in the menu anywhere:
1. Run rear AC in remote start mode. Would be nice to cool down the back for the kids too.
2. Fog lights stay on if they were on when you last shut the car off. Basically make it like a toggle switch rather than a default to off switch...
Also. I paid for tapatalk pro and still get these grainy images... What gives? The pictures on my phone look fine.
Edit: Switched to imgur.com which integrates with tapatalk and back to good images!
I thought of that. But it seems to be maxed out. The new ones have a big rear spoiler that houses the hidden wiper and it seems like that might have reduced the max height. Also doesn't help that the back is lower than the front on mine right now...
Agree. The 2" makes a huge difference in how big it feels. I can now see the roof! The only downside for me is I now hit my head on the rear lift gate even when all the way up. I am about 6' 2".

I would think any upgrade halogen would work fine. I have the OSRAM "cool blue" 9005 bulbs in my high beams and they match really well with the HIDs and vLED fogs.
They make the same bulb in an H11 which is the low beam for the yukon (double check your owners manual for the tahoe).
They are...
Looks awesome! I just lowered mine tonight and this makes me want to go back out and lift it up! But that would be a bit silly on a 2wd...
So does to lift it using spring spacers front and rear?

They work much better than on my 07 audi q7. Like other said once they are on you can manually adjust the speed with the intermittent controller.
The audi was 100% automatic but always went way too fast with hardly any rain and there was no way to adjust it and it drove me nuts!
