Hey all,
I'm looking to replace the halogen bulbs in my Tahoe LT (non HID) with "whiter" (4300-5000K) bulbs. My question is, since the low beam halogen bulb on these vehicles doubles as the DRLs (on the LTZ it's the LEDs but not on the LS & LT), is there anything special to consider in selecting a replacement bulb?
For instance, will the Phillips Diamond Vision or CrystalVision Ultra bulbs serve both functions equally well (DRL and Low Beam) because perhaps it's only a matter of wattage output, or is there the matter of a dual filament to consider? Any advice or experience with these bulbs would be appreciated.

All lights on. Headlights look dingy in comparison to VLED 5000k LED fogs.
