On the 4 doors there are several crossmembers that need to be modified. One of them has the passenger upper shock mount. Since I wanted to add helper bags I removed it fully. Then I removed the driver side upper shock mount and made the plates to bolt a crossmember in using the original rivet...
Different strokes for different folks man. I'd much rather have my components then your generic bolt on Firestone helper bags. But as long as it gets the job done and you're happy, who cares?
If you don't think you can get a good ride with altered suspension you need to do some research...
Pm me. I'm going to sell it as a complete kit. Not looking to part anything out. Probably will keep the shocks because that will just make the deal unrealistic for a buyer since they are $500+ new. It'd be a lot cheaper and easier to put a set of Monroe's on there. Will the traction bars rub what?
I'm thinking about changing my rear suspension if any one has a 4 door and wants a trick bolt on setup, PM me. All the brackets are CNC water jetted and I tig welded everything. I'd be a very easy way for someone to add a 7" drop, traction bars, helper bags and relocated shocks to their Tahoe.
I have a couple of items for Avalanches. All items are new take offs.
1. Bed Cover bag. This is a bag to put the 3 bed cover pieces in. Great shape. $50 plus shipping
2. Straps to secure the bed cover pieces to the bed. All clips good. $25 shipped.
I have a new take off set of roof rack rails removed from a 2009 Tahoe. These are take offs with less then 250 miles. They are in great shape. Asking $50 plus shipping.
07+ tan door sills with the CHEVROLET writing. These are from a 2012 Avalanche and are in good shape (a little dirty but can be wiped clean) These sills fit Avalanches and Suburbans, the front sills would probably fit a Tahoe as well. $50 plus shipping.
