Also I got a set of 15inch wheels for free which have finally been placed on the rig. Pics up when I can actually figure it out.
Okay so details... 2003 Hoe LT 4x4 5.3 etc etc..
When I hit the blinker switch (going left only) I get hazards. The length the hazards are on varies every time and usually when it is colder temperatures it happens. It has become a problem when driving in heavy traffic this winter and a new...
The spacer plate helped the problem in the front, no more grinding, but the back calipers are different design so now I need to shave a bit off of them. Halfway there!
The 6mm plates fixed the problem in the front and they grind in the back. Thursday my buddy will come back with a grinder to finish the job, should have pix up soon, driving round with two sets of rims ;)
So after a month of trying to get a replacement for the bent 6mm plate we finally got fed up and my friend's father flattened it out with a forklift and a mallet. I don't know how he did it but he did. I will now be able to see the wheels on and give my truck a whole new look. If the weather...
My buddy gave me a set of rims from his 98 frontier and they fit perfectly, bolt pattern with stock lug-nuts. The wheels are I believe 108mm bore and I (am looking at) getting a 6mm thick spacer plate with a 108mm bore also (I can't find one with a 78. My truck has a 78mm bore according to the...

they are too big to put inline...
Not in the mood to cut the studs. I don't have the time and no shops by me will do it. Don't want to pay for labor. I am still tossing the idea in the air.
I had the remote start removed by SamSound in West Caldwell for anyone who lives in the area. 90 dollars. A lot more wires and stuff than I thought it would be.
We are only going to cut them so they are flush with the spacer 1.25 inch. thick they stick out just a wee bit prevent the wheels from going on flush. Going to take a lot longer than I though.
I need to cut the studs and haven't found an auto body shop that will cut them. My friend might do it so I will let you guys know. I have the worst of luck right now and I have no faith in this s*** anymore.
Hey all. Just ordered 4 1.25" Wheel Spacers for my 2003 Tahoe LT 4x4. I will put up some pix when I install the wheels and tires. Hopefully Sunday. I will keep you posted.
Due to a mix up with the parts I ordered for the tail lamps (not fitting cargo doors) no surprise there. I wont be doing the Grille Guard or the Tail Lamp Guards. :nolol:
