Well that would be great! I’m coming from a 4runner and now a brief stint with a telluride, so even the Tahoe is going to be a little bit of an adjustment.
That makes sense! We have 3 kids also and I’m going from a 2022 Telluride to the Tahoe due to the fact that the Telly has no cargo space. I want the Tahoe bc of the size, but my husband keeps saying I’m going to regret not having the extra space of the suburban. Maybe I will go test drive one...
Nice! Sounds like you got lucky finding it at just the right time. That’s exactly the same build that I’m waiting for, except as a Tahoe, so I’m glad to hear you’re liking it so far! I’ve considered trying to find a suburban since this Tahoe is taking forever, but the size of it really...
Weird! I’ve chatted them a million times and they’ve never asked me for that. And that delay in information sucks! Ours is just like texting them and they respond instantly.
Pretty sure they were just completely full of it and lying to me…yet again. I had just told them I was concerned bc it didn’t have a WS even though they had told me it was built and waiting for shipment prior to me putting down a deposit. He said “oh, don’t worry! We actually just got one in...
The dealer that I originally was working with claimed that a Tahoe showed up in their lot that never had a window sticker and they were never invoices for. This was as I was confronting them about conning me into putting a deposit down in a Tahoe that they knew had been built and sitting for...
Unfortunately, it’s likely that he can’t get it bc the vehicle isn’t actually complete and it’s waiting for parts/chips. Seems like WS are only given once a vehicle is 100% and ready for shipping. Most of us in here don’t have WS either.
Found out this Tahoe had been built April 14th and has been sitting in the Midlothian lot ever since. Still no window sticker.
But I canceled that one bc the dealer kept lying to me and I got fed up. I currently have a deposit on one that was built 7/4 and is also now sitting in Midlothian. So...
I assume you’ve asked your dealer if those are available or already sold? Seems unimaginable that a dealership would have 3 incoming units that aren’t already promised to people! If so, you got super lucky. Every time I call about one, it’s already been sold.
Seems like you guys with the late June TPWs just squeaked by with having fully produced rides. Mine had a TPW of 7/4 and is now sitting waiting on a chip :(
It’s always been my understanding that they don’t show up as in transit on the dealer or Chevy site until they are completely ready to go and have a window sticker. And that status 4300 is often times code for “waiting for a chip”.
Maybe I don’t know what I’m talking about but it seems like...
Well the original dealer was just straight up lying to me at every turn, so I thought I’d try my luck with another one. Didn’t work, but at least this dealership is completely transparent with me.
It’s a 5.3L 4wd LT with luxury package, pano roof, and 2nd row buckets.
Just found out the Tahoe I reserved that was built the first week of July is “pending a chip installation”. Looks like I missed the window of them producing them and sending them straight out. Back to where I was with the Tahoe I originally reserved that was produced in April and is still...
Yeah that’s exactly what they added to mine. It was an unclaimed stock order, so I jumped on it anyway. Hoping they’ll be cool about letting me bring my own financing or at least matching what I find. Hopefully I’ll find out soon!
