Sorry to hear. My dealer advised against ordering another unit. Said I will likely sit and wait just as long or longer. Timing is horrible for any GM truck or SUV right now

Well the original dealer was just straight up lying to me at every turn, so I thought I’d try my luck with another one. Didn’t work, but at least this dealership is completely transparent with me.

What trim/packages....and does it have a window sticker?

Asking as we may be putting a deposit down on one "in transit" that has popped up on a dealer's website

It’s a 5.3L 4wd LT with luxury package, pano roof, and 2nd row buckets.

It wouldn't be the first time it's shipped, and we havnt been able to track it properly or see a window sticker....good luck, rooting for you

Oh this gives me hope! My dealer told me that they are due a shipment over the weekend that they didn’t get a preship sheet so he’s hoping my order will be there! Fingers crossed.

Wow... I'm new to this forum and have just caught up on some of what's going on. It would seem I'm in a rather large group of frustrated folks. It's always nice to have company.

That said, my situation is approaching dire...

I put down my deposit and placed the order 13 months ago in early June 2021. I think that makes mine one of the older orders on here. It was finally built on 6/13/2022 (12+ months later), and it's sat in TX ever since. Normally, I'm all about patiently waiting, but come on. Not to mention on 6/18 they told me it shipped so I sold my truck (we were a single vehicle family with 3 foster kids, so yes, we are vehicle-less)... so to say this is becoming inconvenient is a gross understatement.

Starting to see real movement in Colorado. My dealer picked up 15 Yukon/Yukon XL this weekend as in transit. None of them are diesel so mine is not one of them. Either way it’s the largest sum of new SUV’s in transit I’ve seen since starting to follow inventory as I wait for mine.

So I think once the window sticker is generated, the invoice is also generated. Then I believe it’s really FULLY built and is ready for transport.

22 RST ordered 10/8/21, accepted 4/26/22, built 5/17/22. I have partial window sticker. Didn’t get the sticker through GM, paid $5 through a 3rd party company for it. Still sitting in Texas waiting on a ride

Mine was built 6/15 and has been at 4300 status in Midlothian ever since waiting for transport to its next destination so they claim. Nobody has been able to confirm anything about chips etc. '22 Tahoe Z71 6.2L, pan roof, 2nd row buckets, Z71 pkg which includes luxury, performance and trailering etc. Vin 32XXX. Headed to Florida soon I hope lol.

I'm a 27XXXX, and I've seen plenty move well after mine was built. There is no rhyme or reason. I honestly don't think GM has a clue

My VIN is 301XXX, ordered 10/8, built 5/17, still sitting in TX waiting on a ride to Chicago, then a semi to MI.
