    Midlothian to Possession

Question for all you professional vehicle trackers Is there a way for me to find out the timeline of my Tahoe (ordered, built, etc dates)? I reserved it once it was already built and at status 4300. I’d like to know how long it’s been sitting. My dealer says he can only see current status code...

    Midlothian to Possession

Thanks, that’s helpful. My dealer asked for a credit card and it was a $3k (!!) deposit. Hopefully they won’t give me a hard time if I end up canceling. In my defense, I had just started looking and they were like “hey! We’ve got this one coming in that matches what you want! It’s already built...

    Midlothian to Possession

Just curious how difficult it was to get your deposit back on the one you ordered. I had to put down a “non refundable” deposit and I just wonder how much of a fight they’re going to put up if I bail on that one to get a different one.

    Midlothian to Possession

Now Chevy chat won’t even give me my status code because “We have found providing event codes doesn't provide the additional insight our customers are expecting from the code and may cause additional confusion.” Probably bc some of them seem to be assigned at random and don’t actually mean...

Where did you get that? Something only dealers have access to?

Very true. I’m really hoping that isn’t the case, but it very well could be.

    Midlothian to Possession

Really seems like there is no rhyme or reason for what they are doing with codes. Definitely frustrating. In other news, I spoke to my dealer today and expressed my concerns about not having a window sticker and he told me that they actually just had a Tahoe show up on their lot that still...

    Midlothian to Possession

I know it doesn’t technically mean there is something wrong, it just seems like they are using that code for a lot of vehicles that are then just sitting for weeks/months with no explanation. I’m more worried about the fact that I don’t have a window sticker. Could they really be so inconsistent...

    Midlothian to Possession

3 weeks ago, I put a deposit down on a Tahoe that was “already built” and in status 4300. Little did I know what that actually meant. Now there is still no window sticker and I Don’t feel good about this at all.

How many people have their vehicle stuck in Midlothian????

How can we tell if it’s stuck there? I put a deposit on one that was already built, but with no eta. I have no idea how long it’s been in the process or where it is exactly. I do have a VIN though, but I can’t get a window sticker and it’s isn’t showing up in the inventory page.

    Tahoe built but no ETA

So I just put down a deposit for a Tahoe that my dealer had ordered but wasn’t yet claimed. It is already built, is at status 4300, but there is no ETA. I have the order #, VIN, and stock number, but when I try to find it on the Chevy Inventory site, it says it no longer exists and when I try to...
