Just installed the 1" leveling kit. Haven't seen it in the light, but so far I like the look. It's .25" taller in the front now. I haven't gotten it aligned, I'm doing that in the AM. It drives great still, just like it did before. Will alignment make the front go down just a little bit?
Sorry, just now seeing this, glad you got the part #. It's so much better than the old one, you'll be happy. let me know if you're successful in selling it. I want to sell mine.
I made the swap today. I was worried the black would look "off "in there with all the brown and tan (cocoa and cashmere?) but it looks great to me. Much happier with the extra space. I have no plans for my old console; It's just sitting in my closet collecting dust.... It'd be nice to get it out...
Can you explain the vibration? I think I'm going to install 1" lower mounted spacer in the front just to get it perfectly level (exactly 1" difference now). But I don't want to start getting a vibration. Is 1" enough to cause it?

It was really easy man. looks a lot better than having the empty clip holes showing, if you ask me.
took them down to 33 front/rear and it rides like it should again. thanks for all of y'alls input. Never messed with tire pressure so much or knew it had that much effect on things. got it all cleaned up. pics to come
I have them at 34 front and 35 rear and its riding a lot better. Should I just be looking at the sides of the tire to make sure the lower inflation isn't tearing up the outer tread? They do not look under inflated at all.
There's no way that trimming the valence could cause vibration to be felt is there? I swear it feels more "vibrate-ey" now. Or I could just be being over sensitive. I took it on a 700 mile trip and it was vibrating like crazy, went and got tired balanced and lowered psi which seemed to help, but...
The first day I had the tires they road great, I think there was about 34 psi in the tires. Took it in to get some service and I think they changed it, there was about 41 psi. And the ride was not very good, the whole vehicle was vibrating, like my tires were unbalanced.. so then I started...
Send pictures! Go get you some tires. Go to Sears and get a Sears credit card and pay them off over 12 months, no interest. That's what I did.

Also, mine is an 07 as well, how many miles do you have on yours...
I used a jig saw. When you take the valence off you will see a metal piece (attached to the bumper) where the valence clipped in. I cut off the ends so it was no longer the shape of the bumper and was just a relatively straight piece and cut it to where it was about 1.25" tall, just enough to...
I took off the front valence, and like everyone said, it looked unfinished and I could see the holes where the clips went. So I trimmed it up with a jigsaw and cut off the ends and snapped the center sections back into the holes. The whole job took about and hour and a half. I am very pleased...

That's going to look so good, can't wait to see pics. I just put $600 worth of maintenance done and $1400 for tires so I'm going to wait a little while before I lift anymore or put any more money into alignment etc.. If you didn't have get an alignment done every time you changed...
I really want to take it off. Does it serve a purpose?? I know it's supposed to be for aerodynamics to keep the engine cooler. Being that my truck just hit 100k I don't want to risk it getting too hot all the time, especially in Louisiana where its hot as hell... But I actually do take the...
Does it look good? I thought it would make it look unfinished. Can't you see the holes where the clips went? I thought about trimming it up to look like the new Denali valence.
Disabled autoride with KYB shocks, lifted it about an inch. The shocks are an inch longer than the stock Denali shocks. Rear autoride works great, 275/55/20 bfg's don't rub, rides great with KYB comfort ride shocks
