Yeah the valance isn't really gonna change much. I didn't notice anything.

Mine goes off-road too, hauls trailers, and a bunch of other stuff. Love it just didn't wanna do big rims and lowered, not my style and would hurt my ability to use it.

I would go a little higher if I were you too. I'm thinking about ditching the running boards but it looked kinda funky, but way taller.

I have a 2.5/1.5 lift and I'm going 275/60/20, probably duratracs

Good to know, I'm going to remove it and paint the part where the clips show (carefully)

Definitely not my style on any vehicle. But to each their own

(My buddy ditched the running boards and I gotta say, it looked terrible lol. I would keep them, it looks unfinished without them.

That's going to look so good, can't wait to see pics. I just put $600 worth of maintenance done and $1400 for tires so I'm going to wait a little while before I lift anymore or put any more money into alignment etc.. If you didn't have get an alignment done every time you changed anything I would slap on the 1" leveling kit myself tomorrow...

My valence ripped off while I was offroad. Looks better in my opinion. For what it's worth I think I'm gonna ditch the 275/60/20 in lieu of either 305/55/20 or 33x12.5x20. When I was stock ride height it looked good but now that I've got the leveling kit on from the rear the tires just look way too skinny and it drives me crazy!

Got a pic from the front or back, that is what i was worried about, being too skinny. But I also don't wanna go to load range E which most 305's are.

How'd you trim it? And where'd you cut? Told you you'd like that!

I used a jig saw. When you take the valence off you will see a metal piece (attached to the bumper) where the valence clipped in. I cut off the ends so it was no longer the shape of the bumper and was just a relatively straight piece and cut it to where it was about 1.25" tall, just enough to cover the metal piece so it doesn't look unfinished, sanded down any rough or sharp edges so it looked factory, then clipped it back in. I like to call it the low-pro valence mod.
