    I may have answered part of this after you. Read my post above. Yes, I'm guessing it quit knocking after the oil got circulated. I don't know, you could be right. I would just hate to spend the time and money to replace the heads the right way then have a bearing go out or something.

I set it at about 17 PSI and within a minute I could see orangish water and bubbles coming up through the crack in the middle oil drain back hole.     Well I ran it yesterday for about 20 minutes. Would that have built enough pressure? Why such a big difference in price for a new one? Does that include labor too? Time to weigh some options... I wonder where that oil sample is... Haven’t heard from them yet.
