I am almost certain those are cracks in there. Would the oil make that pattern for any other reason?
Would it be worth buying a coolant pressure tester to confirm? There isn't a place here I can rent one from so I'd have to buy one and they're not as cheap as I'd like.

I was hoping I wouldn't find that logo when I took the passenger valve cover off... It also looks like I have cracks where everyone said they'd be. Do I even need to pressure test it? I didn't touch anything in there before I took the photos.
Not that I know of. How would I check for that? It seemed to pour smoke out of both sides the whole time even after it reached operating temperature. When smoke stopped coming out the exhaust it also stopped coming from the engine.

No, not yet unfortunately. I received the last part yesterday so I should be good to go when I have some free time. Hoping for this weekend. I did send the oil sample off to get analyzed last week though.
I used to get the service tire monitor message every time I started the truck. I finally took it to the dealer and they determined it was most likely that the batteries in the sensors were dying. They said a couple of the sensors were barely registering with their scanner tool. That made sense...
