Niceeee! Looks clean! Reminds me of the Lead Foot Gray color on the new gen. ford raptors. Clean build sir! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Grill mounted light bar.

Absolutely, another reason I’d mount it behind the grill. But 1k for a light bar on a truck with 250k miles and counting aint gonna happen. Lol. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    Grill mounted light bar.

Any specific brands y’all recommend? I’m using some Rigid pod’s for another project I’m working on, but I know the Rigids get hella expensive the larger you go. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Dark Grey Matte wrapped 2007 LTZ Tahoe

Oh, a lot of elbow grease was put into the front bumper to smooth out the blemishes. In my eyes, it’s a truck- so a few scratches and war scars are fine by my book. It just needs to be smooth and clean for vinyl installation. Thanks for the kind words. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Ohhhh I like that. What size light bar is that? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    2007 Tahoe LTZ Build Thread.

I’m on mobile (IOS), don’t have time to upload via computer at the moment. Those pics are on my other posted threads via the links. Just wanted to gather them all up into one thread. I’ll post reference photos along with the links. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

    2007 Tahoe LTZ Build Thread.

Might as well start a build thread since I can’t seem to refrain from making it rain on this hoe! [emoji389][emoji389][emoji389] More to come... Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Yup, you’re exactly right. Inlays first then the whole bumper (that’s how I was taught). All together there is 7 pieces of vinyl just for the front bumper alone. The trick is to hide the seams, and ensure they agree to fluid dynamics/ airflow (you don’t want the vinyl lifting because it “scoops”...

CB radio install on a 07-14 tahoe?

Has anyone installed a CB into an 07-14 model yet? I’ve got some ideas for the antenna (hidden 3ft, or rear hatch mount), just trying to plan where to mount the head unit (New Cobra 29 LX I just scoop for $60). Thinking either in the center console or glovebox (both of which I don’t really use...

Very well. I was torn between the three styles, but the low-pros you barely notice, which I like a lot. I’m not a smoker, but I got them more for the fact that my Hoe sits at the airport 12+ hrs a day in the Texas heat. Now at least my vehicle is not thermal-nuclear when I leave work, and I...

Scan gauge II installed above Rear-View Mirror

It digitalizes the gauges, reads codes, and allows you to clear them as well. Check their website for more info. https://www.scangauge.com/products/scangauge-ii/ Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Scan gauge II installed above Rear-View Mirror

Haha! Katana protection! I like it. Yeah, I do plan on tinting the windows the same, which will be happening sooner rather than later. The factory tint isn’t sufficient enough for the Texas heat. Though I still need to fix the driver window motor before that can happen. I did just got done...

Scan gauge II installed above Rear-View Mirror

It is if you want it to, but the radar would be pointing up, which is useless. I’m tall (6’2”) so I rarely need the visor (I just use sunglasses). I’ll try to post a few more pics later today of the radar hard wiring route.

Scan gauge II installed above Rear-View Mirror

I had the blend mount for the radar on my previous vehicle (Subaru BRZ). In the Tahoe I feel like it hangs too low and is too visible to prying eyes. I like the visor clip mount because it keeps the radar out of sight, out of mind (although you do lose full use of the visor). I am using the scan...
