I just loaded a 87/89 Tune and was wondering if anybody else experienced a In-Gear idle issue. I am experiencing a very small vibration at stop lights and it only occurred after the tune. It is noticeable in the mirrors, and interior panels (new squeaks). It was a Black Bear Tune, and I emailed...
Thanks for the responses! I was able to get the relay box mounted and I ended up routing the wires between the fuse box and fender, I dont know if that is the factory route or between the fuse box and the engine. Either way, looks ok, I did trim the fuse panel housing a little to make for a...
OK, Figured out where the relay panel gets mounted. I didnt realize I had to remove the fender brace & cover panel (not lid). Now, I just want to confirm the wiring pin location for the 03 and up models. Thanks
I know this has been discussed quite a bit. I have read a lot of posts and pages, which is why I am here. I think the info has gotten a bit confusing to me.
I have an 03 Yukon. I want to wire the OEM harness like the factory did in 05 (I think).
Can someone simply tell me how to wire the...
My Yukon passenger side rear bucket has slide rails on it. I removed the seats recently and was able to manually open the spring loaded levers that lock it in place, but there is no way that I can see to adjust the seat or the purpose for this exactly. Anybody have the same? Also does there...
Well, I found what I think is the clip. It is called "Garnish Clip Fastener". It is also listed in some stores as "Garnish windshield clip"
I found them on eBay and Amazon.
I have been cleaning the carpets in my Yukon and removed most of the floor trim panels to remove the carpet. Many of the small gold colored clips that hold the trim panels have broken when I removed the panels. Does anybody know where to get replacements? I assume either the dealer or hopefully...
Hi, I have was getting ready to buy a new license for my autocal for my "new" 03 Yukon. I had to put it on hold for a little bit while I raise some cash. I do however have a set of fans I want to install, but will need them programmed. Can you give me some info on the standalone tuning for this...
I guess, I would want know if the carpet color was the same in either scenario, or did they change the carpet color depending on the leather combination?
Those are the part numbers for the "std" radiator, not the big one right? I am planning on getting a harness from Nelson Tuning unless I can find one locally. I want to have it tuned to run from the ecm.
I have an 03 Yukon 2500. I want to upgrade to electric fans. I have heard there are larger radiators on some models. How do I know if I have the larger one or not? Also, Do they make electric fans for both sizes?
This is what the build sheet says:
921 - Interior Trim Shale/Pewter (921)
922 - Trim Combination Leather, Shale Pewter (922)
The seat leather seems dark to me. The Dash has some very dark grey on it.
I have Grey interior in an 03 Yukon. I dont want to stain or paint the whole carpet, but there are some permanent stains that I want to touch up. Does anybody know of a dye/paint that closely matches the color? Build sheet has both 921, AND 922 CODES.
You can bolt them on without modifications to truck. Previous owner may have just removed a fuse or something to eliminate code. But there is no mods needed. Original Autoride shocks bolt up just like non autoride, just have some wires connected, and in rear wires and air hose. The autoride...
If the autoride shocks are no longer on the vehicle, and there are no codes, the previous owner did some conversion or modified the system to eliminate the error code. You should have no issues with the switch to your new shocks. If any of the shocks are present you may have to add a resister or...
I have 165k on this Yukon. I was just not sure if it was me switching to the stiffer suspension from my Tahoe which drove like a dream. I wonder if a Tech2 can determine if they are good. I have a set of Billsteins 4600s that I never installed on the Tahoe sitting in my garage.
I have switched from a Tahoe to 2500 Yukon. Old Tahoe had autoride with air and I could tell when they went bad, but how do I know if they are worn out on this truck? It has autoride and not the air lift (leaf springs). It rides fairly rough/stiff, but not bouncy.
I am looking for tow mirrors that power fold. My mirrors have all of the upgraded functions and would like to keep them. I am looking for a recommendation. Thanks
The clamps work great! I ended up buying the dorman units from Amazon, They were a little less expensive and the shipping was fast & free. I ordered yesterday morning and had them installed by 7pm (same day).
Trying to wrap my head around the gear ratio thing... So the Tahoe "launches" quicker because the higher ratio - more revolutions of engine to driveshaft rotations. I would have thought the 2500 would of been designed with a lower (higher rotations) first gear ratio, since the assumed intent is...
Bad scenario, first and last manifold bolts broken on drivers side. I see the front one has a stud sticking out - cant tell about the rear one yet. Do I buy the camps or attempt to remove the rest of them and replace with gasket?
Good to know the Trango site has some good products, I am not sure I want to get that involved. I will have Black Bear do what they can with the tune and go from there. Just got it so I have to $ manage the upgrades, but good to know the fan make a difference. I will be on the look-out. I have a...
