I have an 03 Yukon 2500. I want to upgrade to electric fans. I have heard there are larger radiators on some models. How do I know if I have the larger one or not? Also, Do they make electric fans for both sizes?

34" wide is usually the larger one, thickness can vary also depending on how much money you want to spend, mine is 1 3/8" from 1800radiator

The 8.1L is the one with the giant ass super expensive to replace radiator as I personally found out last summer. TYC 622210, Dorman 620-653 are the numbers to fans that will work for you among others. Are you going to run a stand alone controller for the fans or install the factory harness and have it tuned?

Those are the part numbers for the "std" radiator, not the big one right? I am planning on getting a harness from Nelson Tuning unless I can find one locally. I want to have it tuned to run from the ecm.

Those are the part numbers for the std 34 inch(?) radiator found with the 5.3/6.0. You should get the factory harness that @ScottyBoy sells if he has any available. There are two wires, a blue one and a green one, that plug into the ECM. I don't remember which wire goes to #42 and which one goes to #33.

Green trigger wire goes to pin 42 in the blue plug, and the blue wire goes to pin 33 on the green plug. And yes, I have an OEM harness in stock right now. It's $125 shipped.

Thanks for clarifying which trigger wire goes where.
