like said keep up your maintenance, a little junk yard run for the door, some seals, im sure you can find someone to make up up some wheel wells cheap.(or you do it) i would osfo (rust converter) the underside and then spray it with por15. that should last you a long time. interior is pretty...
So my check engine light burnt out so periodically i do an obd scan. since replacing the motor ive had an O2 sensor code that i havent gotten around to replacing. well i started up the truck today with the scanner and now no o2 sensor. The reason for the scan today is yesterday i was at a light...
just the bcm. well actually.. lets get a running list and total if you dont mind. if the a/c worked i could also use the compressor, havac controls, and its been a while since i looked but i could use the whole line with the front orifice tube in it as well. this is all stuff ive kinda lived...
i would look at ballast or wiring. either way something isnt right. mine flicker when i first turn on my truck but that is because they turn on and turn off and turn back on agian in pretty quick fashion.
i just was wondering about this the other day. it seems im always filling up. well i found a problem 145 per 25 gallons. that equals somewhere in the 6ish mpg. for a stock truck that aint right.
buddy of mine and i swapped wheels.. hes trading in his truck and i like his wheels.. so we just swapped them over. i think it makes the truck look tough.
my rims on his truck
thats the only reason i suggested 33's.. ive gone back and forth with this for a while on my truck, but unfortunately i use my truck off road.. its a bit hairy with 22's
i dont see how you would run anything smaller as far as lift for 37's.. thats alot of tire and width to try and shove in there.. your backspacing has alot to do with it.. i would stick with 33's on a 22" rim.. 35's are really not going to make a whole lot of difference and you can keep your...
im at around 5k with buying my truck in the last year.. i know its not alot compared to you guys. but when i look back at it, i know everything in side and out with my truck.. i know all the maintenance and everything else has been done right.. i also have kind of a rare breed IMO it was only in...
the only thing ive really seen is the oem injection spider.. there are a few guys on the obs trucks that swap out their intake manifolds for the marine version which uses injectors.. but if i remember correctly it takes some modification to get it to work
its pretty straight forward.. some will say disconnect the exhaust manifolds at the collectors.. triple check everything before you attempt to pull it.. also it would be easier and safer to pull the engine out with disconnecting the tq converter.. i picked up a brand new engine from jegs for 2k...
