Ok so I really took it apart and looked at it right now. I hope someone can answer me before I have to put it back together in a couple hours.
When I click on the hi beams, the bulb moves out and when in low beam its in. I hope that makes sense. Also the wiring harness I have, if your...
Well yeah they are the bi-xenon, so the high beam is a halogen part. So if they are backwards (like I suspect) then when we turn on the high beams they would actually be the "low beams" and look brighter because its actually the HID bulb instead of the halogen. Do I just need to try and flip...
Ok I asked the seller and he has the shield picture was a H4. I went ahead and got the h13 hi/lo kit. Now I have a real tech question. On my regular bulb the back filament was burnt out which was when I clicked over to hi beams. So I would assume that was the hi beam filament. But now with...
I just installed some HID's in our 07 Yukon. So I am disabling the DRL's so they don't always come on. What is a way that I could make the fogs as the DRL and automatically come on with the low beams as well? Anyway that I could do that or at least make the fogs drl?
Ok so I'm ready to get some HID's for our Yukon. I was going to maybe go with the bi-xenon lo-hi bulbs. The couple that I have seen though have the "shield" thing over the front of the bulbs, or a shield on the side of them. I don't need any shields do I since the stock housing has the one in...
I just had to have all the afm lifters replaced and I was now going to look into a tune from you guys. Its a bone stock Yukon 5.3 FFV. I was wanting to turn off the afm and see about a mpg tune. Right now we are getting 13-15 mpg mostly highway. I don't know if that is because the afm wasn't...

I was thinking of getting this. Someone in the thread earlier had one from Lowes...looks like the same concept and its clear so you can see the oil level. Just have to get the fittings for it would be...
I have a retro solutions one in my car and they are pretty good, a ballast just went out on me though so I have to contact them to get it replaced. I paid about $100 for it. For under $50, I can't see much being bad or not the same as my $100 or more. The light color or density might be off a...
Thats exactly right. I took it to chevy this morning and said I came in with code P0300 - Multiple cylinder misfire so by the time they got around to check it I understand it was Cylinder 7. But then you replaced 4 lifters (2 per cylinder) and did 1 even though it wasn't the one you were...
Nope code read cylinder 4, the opposite side. So now I'm going to ***** at them and ask if they knew the ones were bad then why didn't they look at the other side just to see including it had a multiple cylinder misfire code
And its back...fuck. They replaced 4 lifters, so I'm guessing 2 on each cylinder? They replaced them on "7" so knowing my luck its now the passenger side or 4,6. Will read the code later and see what it says. God this pisses me off
Lucky for us, we have an aftermarket warranty that took care of a little over $1900. They just didn't pay for the fluids (oil and coolant) and the sales tax. We owed about $244 and then the dealer we bought it from is suppose to reimbuse us half since it was still under the 30 day warranty...
Well its at the shop and if I can get it half way covered I will have them do the work. The dealer we bought it from "SOUNDS" like they will honor their 50/50 warranty as I called them yesterday and told them what was going on and said it could be rings/piston, lifters, or if bad enough need a...
2007 Yukon 5.3 Flexfuel, AFM with 142xxx miles
So we have had our used Yukon about 2 weeks now and not even 1000 miles. The other day my wife is driving it and calls me to tell me that the service traction control / stabitrax is on and the check engine light is on. Well I take it to Oreilly...
I have a Yukon so it will be a little different but didn't know if anyone could answer me this.
Which kit should I get? I would assume on the website that I could get the DDM 35W & 55W Single Hi/Lo Motorcycle HID Kit.
I emailed DDM and they came back with the slim ballast kit, then...
Now just to figure out the little quirks that have happened since monday :/
Got the P0121 code so I will be cleaning the throttle body and all to hopefully solve that
Got the cluck from the drive shaft now after it didn't do it on the test drive
Passenger door panel or something is lose...
Our 07 Yukon has the same problem. It clucks when you are about to stop and then when you take off. My wife thought it was something when she was turning, until I drove it and it did it to me when I was about to stop (maybe 5-10 mph) and then again when I would take off.
We just bought the...
Yeah I called our local one because I have a friend that works there. He gave me the part numbers of the key and key fob to look for. It is the 5 button one he said (lock, unlock, remote start, liftglass, panic)
Are you sure because our key has the circle with the + in the middle, I thought that was the chip? Also it lucky came with the window sticker, so I saw that we have the liftgate / lift glass which I would assume means we need the key fob that has both on it.
