    Goodies in my amazon cart

Well, atleast you picked out the Flowmaster that won't stop up your exhaust flow. Be advised though, it's going to be pretty loud, and have a lot of drone on the highway. The other items are pretty quality, although, I have never used spark plug heat boots. I'm not sure if they will have any...

    Flow master Denali ??

Wait . . . you have the more luxurious model Yukon, and you want to cork the exhaust with a terrible flowing cheap muffler? If you prefer a restrictive flowing exhaust system, go to Amazon.com, search Flowmaster mufflers, then it will give you the option to enter you year, make, and model to...

    Thoughts on new hood...

I absolutely love them. Always have. Defintely going to put one on my 96 2-door. I plan to go with a Goodmark, in a 2-3" cowl. Yeah, they're definitely the most common hood you can put on the OBS, but it's hard to go wrong with them, and as long as you find one that you like, go for it!

    Cowl Induction Hood

Definitely steel. I put a fiberglass on my Camaro. The rest of the front clip was plastic, so why not? First problem, the fiberglass had pin holes in it. Needed quite a bit of filling in, before it could be prepped for paint. Their were some fitment issues I didn't care for. Low about mid way...

2dr ~ Any Roof rack solutions?

edonwheels, yeah, it is old, and I'm going through old threads myself. I'm at work and bored, so I figure what the hell. Might as well breathe a little life into some of these old threads.:p So, what did you go with Crazy_Legs?

    1996 gmc yukon interior swap

I'm going to assume that the difficulty level is pretty high. If you aren't a specialist in custom interiors, I would advise against it. I love that Cadillac, the only thing I wish they would have done different, is update the quarters. I have come across some of these types of builds, and...

Need new carpet, need help choosing the color

I would go with the darker gray, or even black. I think either would work. It's going on the floor board, so if you intend to use it, daily driver, using it on rainy days, or might even chance getting mud on the floor board (even if you have the Husky liners), just go with a darker carpet. If...

1996 2 Door: Talk me out of it

BUY IT! Lower intakes have failed in my motor 3 times. That's a cheap fix. Spider injection can be problematic, but the price of the upgraded system has dropped like $200. Being old, things can definitely fail. With it only having 101k miles, I would expect these to be mostly limited to...

Dealer key fob wont work pulled bcm codes need help figuring this out

You can't use the data port method? Use a paperclip, insert one end into #4 and the other into #8. That's the method for my 96 anyway.

    Remote entry question.....

Yeah, welcome to the world of buying a used vehicle in the Keyless age. You almost never get the remote, rarely get both keys, and almost NEVER key the factory key. When I traded my Hayabusa for mine, I got ONE OEM (amazingly) worn out 230k mile key. I went to the dealership to have them pull up...

    Keyless Remote Replacement

You're a smart guy, and seem damn knowledgeable guy. Was the 96 available with the factory alarm, or just keyless entry? If it was available with the alarm, what would be the RPO code for that?

    Keyless Remote Replacement

What if I have barn doors? I prefer the style of the first part number you posted. I bought some on ebay similar to that, in a 2 button remote. Damn things won't program. The part number you posted looks like the old Ford remotes from the 90's. :doublepuke:

    Sound deadening insulation

That's cool. Seems like with all of that deadening, it would absorb the sound of your voice when you talk!;) massivespl, thanks for the tip dude! I'm thinking about the first one. DallasTahoe, if you just did the doors and rear floorboard, and I going to need a few rolls for what I want to...

    built sheet site

Anytime I pick up a new vehicle, I hit the internet to check the RPO codes. Find some pretty interesting things in there sometimes. I also do this when I look at buying a vehicle sometimes. Really?? Did not know that. Ofcourse in my case, I don't really need to go through the effort. I have...

Why didn't you simply decode the RPO codes on Google? Cheaper than $5.

    Thinking of buying 94 Tahoe

Doesn't look bad, and it's not a terrible price. First rule of buying any vehicle, new OR used, talk them down, they will always take less. Sounds like you could fix the issues the truck has, and make a pretty truck out of it. Go for it!

What did you do to your OBS GMT400 Tahoe/Yukon Today?

Yesterday, I walked to my Hoe to put a battery tie down in place, since I was missing mine. I opened the hood, and a damn scared the shit out of me! Stupid furball was sleeping on top of my engine! Wasn't expecting that, so I jumped back and let the hood shut. :doh2: When I went to put my...
