    Windshield Chipping 2021 Yukon

    Safelite replaced the windshield on my Escalade with an OEM one, and I was worried about the same thing. They did a great job, everything works as before (including supercruise). If you're having a reputable shop do the repair you're fine.

    How to keep the radio on?

    Just press the start button without your foot on the brake (no hold required) is the equivalent of turning the key to accessory mode on older vehicles. I've done drive in movies this way in the past.

    Same. It's a glitch that only happens occasionally- maybe 95% of the time it's fine on the interstates I drive daily, but once and a while the icon doesn't show as available.

    Nope. I was shocked as well- but Cadillac always had their own different system from GMC and Chevy so they probably left it that way as a differentiator.

    The Escalade can do this, so I don't see why the other GM SUVs couldn't. The "first to detect" is based on which key fob unlocks the car- which is infuriating if my wife gets to the car before me and unlocks it using her fob (which happens a lot).

    It does have it's own setup page in the menu. I'm not an audiophile so I don't adjust it that much but specifically the 360 sound adjustment made a big difference to me (I have it fully 360)

    Mute your videos on instagram and have notifications turned off. The only app that does that to me now is Twitter- haven't figured that out yet.

    They're built on the same assembly lines, and have a lot of the same constraints, so it isn't necessarily going to get to you any quicker. I will say though as someone who has an Escalade with SuperCruise, the feature is fantastic.
