2023 XL Denali ticking noise (this is the replacement truck for the one that had 2 engines die)

My dealer has been awesome and worked with me on every single thing. I appreciate their efforts. I'm waiting for an official diagnosis before deciding what I do next. I just want a vehicle that works.

2023 XL Denali ticking noise (this is the replacement truck for the one that had 2 engines die)

Good freaking grief. 11,500 miles on the car. One year anniversary of getting it as a replacement for the 21 Yukon that GM bought back after two engine replacements and a third issue in 8 months. *sigh* Dealer has it, they need to tear it apart and see what's up. A tech jumped in it real...

2023 XL Denali ticking noise (this is the replacement truck for the one that had 2 engines die)

Please tell me this is not the infamous ticking issue...... Just randomly started today. I remote started it and it didnt sound right, but I thought it was the car next to me. Other car drove off, open hood and voila. Tick tick tick tick tick.

    Buyer Beware - Don't Buy a Yukon

I will start by saying I did not read all 7 pages, I read the first two. That was enough. Search under my profile. I successfully get GM to buyback a 2021 that had two engine replacements and a third failure when I bought it in August 2022. Dealer #1 screwed up and treated me like crap...

Sirius favorites suddenly stopped working, then were all lost and had to be re-programmed. Any ideas?

Did some reading, and saw this thread here from last year: https://www.tahoeyukonforum.com/threads/2022-tahoe-rst-radio-update-sirius-favorites-are-now-unavailable.141763/ I had the exact same issue this weekend. Suddenly, my SiriusXM favorites were greyed out and "Feature Not Available" came...

Anyone having issues with Android Auto constantly connecting/disconnecting?

Since the latest update at the end of Jan, I have noticed my display say Android Auto disconnecting, then reconnecting a LOT compared to in the past. Same phone, no issues in my other car and no issues if I connect via Bluetooth only. My music never cuts out, but I get the message a lot more...

Beware: GM Nightmare - Defective 2024 and 2022 Yukon Diesel

I went through hell with my 21 Yukon, 2 engine replacements and a third failure all in 8 months. It was long, but GM did work with me and make it right, and I am enjoying my 2023. **knock on wood** Keep pushing them, they'll make it right. Good luck.

    2022 6.2L Engine Warranty

    1. Ask if there is any metal in the oil. If yes, they should change the radiator also. GM did not change the radiator in my engine bay after the first failure. 148 miles later, the new engine died as well. 2. Ask for extended powertrain coverage, the full 5 yrs.

Do you use your rear-view mirror in camera-mode?

My 2023 came with a standard rearview mirror instead of camera. After having it on my 2021, I had to have a rearview camera, so I got this dashcam that does both front and rear: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0811Q28N6/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&psc=1 Then for the mirror...

Need suggestions - After the mess I have gone through over the past 9 months, what should I ask GMC to do? Vehicle repurchased, new vehicle in shop

I did a LOT of research and settled on the Yukon the first time. When I went through all of this, I went through a LOT of updated research and ended up with the Yukon #1 again.

Need suggestions - After the mess I have gone through over the past 9 months, what should I ask GMC to do? Vehicle repurchased, new vehicle in shop

    2023 Google OS infotainment

Mine is very slow to connect to my phone, i.e. it will take up to 4-5 mins to reflect my contact favorites. I downloaded Waze, but it only runs in km, not miles and I cannot find a damn place to change this. I miss the layout of the previous screens. That said, it is the latest and greatest...
